AGON by AOC raises the bar for competitive gaming to a record level with two new 24.1-inch monitors. The AGON PRO CS24A and AGON PRO AG246FK6 offer refresh rates of up to 610 Hz, setting new standards for response speed and motion sharpness in e-sports. Developed in close cooperation with Counter-Strike 2, the monitors are clearly aimed at ambitious players who consider every millisecond to be decisive in the game.

  • 24.1-inch TN panel with Full HD resolution and up to 610 Hz
  • Response times of 0.3 ms MPRT and MBR+ backlight strobing for razor-sharp movements
  • Exclusive Counter-Strike 2 design on the CS24A, classic AGON PRO look on the AG246FK6
  • Adaptive Sync, DisplayHDR 400, extensive connectivity options and ergonomic features

Cooperation with Counter-Strike 2 as a development engine

For more than two decades, Counter-Strike has shaped the world of competitive gaming – from LAN party classics to stadium events. The partnership between AGON by AOC and Counter-Strike 2 brings together two heavyweights: a game that has set the standard for tactical shooters and monitors that aim to take this standard to a new technological level. While high-end monitors have increased from 144 Hz to 240 Hz and more in recent years, the CS24A with its overclockable 610 Hz goes beyond the previous limits.

The exclusive CS2 branding of the CS24A also makes a visual statement: striking orange accents and design elements inspired by the game. For those who prefer a more subtle look, the AG246FK6 offers the same technology in classic AGON PRO style. Both models are aimed at gamers who cannot afford to compromise on response time, picture quality and motion display.

MBR+ and ultra-fast response times for maximum precision

At the heart of the new monitors is AGON’s MBR+ (Motion Blur Reduction Plus) technology. It relies on a double LED backlight system with 20 individually controlled LED groups. The result: minimized motion blur and a virtually ghost-free image – even in hectic battles with quick turns and precision shots.

The technical specifications read like a wish list for professional gamers: response times of 0.5 ms GtG and 0.3 ms MPRT, DisplayHDR 400 for better visibility in dark and bright scenes, 500 cd/m² peak brightness for tournament environments, as well as color accuracy with 99.8% sRGB and 93.6% DCI-P3 coverage. Adaptive Sync, AMD FreeSync Premium and Nvidia G-SYNC compatibility ensure smooth gameplay.

There are plenty of connections with 2× HDMI 2.1, 1× DisplayPort 1.4 and a USB 3.2 Gen1 hub (4 ports).

Game modes, QuickSwitch and ergonomic features

The wired QuickSwitch controller allows direct access to monitor settings without interrupting the game. The CS24A has a special CS2 mode that optimizes contrast, shadows and MBR+ to make opponents more visible. The AG246FK6 offers various FPS profiles, adapted to different gaming styles.

Both models score points with variable height adjustment (130 mm), pivot, tilt and swivel functions as well as a three-sided frameless design – ideal for multi-monitor setups. A headset holder is also integrated.

Other gaming features include Shadow Control, Game Colour, a crosshair overlay, low-input lag mode and RGB Light FX for synchronized lighting effects.

Conclusion: Record values for the competitive edge

With up to 610 Hz, extremely low response times and MBR+ technology, the new AGON PRO models make a clear statement in the high-end gaming segment. The CS24A offers a clear focus on the popular tactical shooter with its CS2-inspired design and special game mode, while the AG246FK6 delivers the same performance in a more neutral look.

The AGON PRO AG246FK6 will be available from August 2025 for €809, with the CS24A following in September 2025 at the same price. For e-sports enthusiasts who want to secure every millisecond of competitive advantage, these monitors could be worth a look.
