Smart speakers and displays have become an integral part of modern households. With the new Echo line-up, Amazon is now setting a new standard and introducing innovative models such as Echo Dot Max, Echo Studio, Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11. These devices not only offer an eye-catching design and powerful audio technology, but are also ready for next-generation AI-based experiences such as Alexa+ for the first time. The new Echo devices promise a noticeable upgrade in sound, interaction and versatility – making smart home and entertainment more convenient and personal than ever before.
- Echo Dot Max offers powerful sound and bass that automatically adapts to the room
- Echo Studio delivers immersive 3D sound and Dolby Atmos with modern spherical design
- Echo Show 8 & 11 shine with high-resolution displays, improved camera and optimized audio architecture
- New Amazon chips (AZ3 / AZ3 Pro) and AI accelerators for smart functions and future Alexa+ experiences
Redefined smart audio and design
The Echo Dot Max impresses as a compact speaker with a two-way system that delivers powerful sound and almost three times the bass of the previous generation. The innovative integration of the speaker into the device housing keeps the design compact while still amplifying the sound. Thanks to automatic room adjustment, the audio experience is always optimal, regardless of the position in the room or the existing furniture.

Echo Studio is significantly smaller than its predecessor, but comes with even better sound and a modern spherical design made of high-quality materials such as elastic 3D fabric. Three strategically placed drivers and a high-performance woofer create immersive 3D sound, supported by Dolby Atmos. Up to five Echo Studio or Echo Dot Max devices can be paired with compatible Fire TV products for a complete home theater experience.

Smart displays and versatile AI functions
The Echo Show 8 and Echo Show 11 feature high-resolution displays that are characterized by particularly wide viewing angles and excellent readability thanks to in-cell touch technology and negative liquid crystal design – even in difficult lighting conditions. The displays offer more than 1 million pixels and an enlarged visible screen area. The 13 megapixel camera is ready for video calls with excellent picture quality.

New standards have also been set in terms of sound. Both models rely on an innovative audio architecture with front-facing stereo speakers and a specialized woofer for authentic 3D audio. For flexible entertainment, an optional stand with tilt and swivel function can be used to create the perfect angle for recipes, video calls and favorite shows.

At the heart of the new Echo generation are the specially developed Amazon chips AZ3 and AZ3 Pro as well as the new AI accelerator. This hardware already enables smoother, more natural voice interactions and prepares the devices for future generative AI experiences such as Alexa+. Omnisense also introduces a sensor fusion technology that evaluates various signals such as audio, ultrasound and Wi-Fi, making personalized ambient AI experiences possible.
Conclusion: progress for the smart home
The new Echo line-up from Amazon combines impressive sound and smart technologies with elegant design. Thanks to powerful chips and AI accelerators, the devices will remain at the cutting edge in the long term and enable new experiences as soon as services such as Alexa+ are available. All models are available to pre-order now and will be delivered from the end of October or mid-November. Prices range from 109.99 euros (Echo Dot Max) to 239.99 euros (Echo Studio/Echo Show 11), while the optional stand for the Echo Show models costs 39.99 euros.
