With the new Power Dock, Anker SOLIX is launching a significant expansion for the Solarbank 3 Pro system. This allows up to four of the powerful units to be connected to form a complete modular PV system – with significantly more capacity, higher feed-in power and more versatile application options. The upgrade makes the balcony power plant a serious alternative for private energy supply in the smart home or for e-mobility.

Highlights

  • Combination of up to four Solarbank 3 Pro modules possible
  • Feed-in power increases to up to 4,800 W
  • PV input power of up to 14.4 kW can be realized
  • Total storage of up to 64.5 kW possible
  • Limited launch of the pilot program with special discount and installation service

From balcony power plant to private energy solution

The newly introduced Power Dock acts as the central switching point for the extended Solix system. It allows the combination of up to four units of the Solarbank 3 Pro (Review | € 1,499.00 *), which together enable a feed-in power of up to 4,800 W – a significant leap in performance compared to conventional balcony power plants, which are usually limited to 600 to 800 W. This means that the system is no longer just suitable for use on balconies. This means that the system is no longer just suitable for use on balconies.

Instead, it is developing into a fully-fledged solution for homeowners who want to cover a larger proportion of their energy requirements themselves. In addition to the increased feed-in power, the Power Dock also allows a PV input of up to 14.4 kW, which, in combination with several modules, enables a very flexible design depending on requirements and area. The modular approach is particularly interesting: users can start small and expand the system later – without having to replace existing components.

Special technical features and smart functions

Each Solarbank 3 Pro unit has a nominal storage capacity of 2,688 Wh and supports four MPPT inputs with up to 900 W each. The combination of four devices results in a total potential of over 10 kWh of pure battery capacity. If you add the option of connecting an Anker Solix BP2700 (€ 899.00 *) as an additional battery, the storage capacity increases to up to 64.5 kWh.

This is enough even for more energy-intensive applications such as charging electric cars or operating power-hungry household appliances. The Solix platform also offers intelligent energy management that can be controlled via the Anker app. Among other things, you can set feed-in times, activate dynamic charging or define the prioritization of self-consumption.

It is also possible to connect a smart meter to control and optimize electricity usage even more specifically. The systems also support single-phase feed-in at 230 V – ideal for typical household grids. The combination of high flexibility, strong performance and smart control makes the Solix system an exciting solution for anyone who wants to become independent of the electricity supplier – and with a system that can be retrofitted with almost no intervention in the existing infrastructure.

Now available in the pilot program

For the market launch, Anker is offering an exclusive pilot program for interested customers in Germany. A total of 150 units of the new system are being offered at discounted rates as part of this test phase. Buyers will receive the Power Dock free of charge with the purchase of four Solarbank 3 Pro units. In addition, Anker is granting a discount of 300 euros per Solarbank module, which makes the entry into the program much more attractive.

An optional installation service is also offered at a discount – instead of the regular 999 euros, the price in the pilot program is 699 euros. The promotion is aimed in particular at tech-savvy users who are willing to test the system under real conditions and provide feedback to the manufacturer. So if you want to install a high-performance, modularly expandable PV system at an early stage, this is a rare opportunity to benefit from professional quality at an entry-level price.
