The Essential E4 series has been clearly tailored to the needs of modern workstations. It includes classic Full HD monitors such as the 24E4U and 27E4U with IPS panels, 120 Hz and a solid 300 nits brightness, as well as higher resolution models such as the Q27E4U with QHD or the U27E4CV with 4K UHD resolution and 1.07 billion displayable colors. All devices therefore deliver razor-sharp displays – both for office applications and for content creation.
The division into standard models and so-called CV/CW variants, which are equipped with additional USB-C connectivity including 90 W Power Delivery, DP-out and network connection (RJ-45), is particularly well thought-out. These models offer a real docking station function via just one cable – ideal for laptops or hybrid setups. With the option of daisy chaining, multiple displays can also be connected efficiently without the risk of cable clutter.
High-end features from AOC for a smooth workflow
For productive work under high demands, the displays offer consistently convincing technical features. The refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and response times of up to 4 ms GtG ensure smooth motion sequences and are also suitable for graphics-intensive applications. Adaptive Sync technology prevents tearing, which is not only relevant in gaming, but also in the video sector.
The two top models in the range – CU34E4CV and CU34E4CW – with their 34-inch curved ultrawide panels (WQHD resolution, VA technology) are aimed at creative professionals, multitaskers and anyone who appreciates maximum screen space. Both models offer two USB-C inputs, a Smart KVM switch for switching between devices and – in the case of the CU34E4CW – an integrated 5 MP webcam with Windows Hello for fast and secure facial recognition.
AOC offers ergonomics and eye protection
AOC also leaves nothing to be desired when it comes to ergonomics: The smaller models (24 to 27 inches) offer complete flexibility with height adjustment, pivot function as well as tilt and swivel options. The larger 34-inch displays can also be tilted and adjusted in height – with up to 180 mm of leeway. Thanks to VESA compatibility (100 × 100 mm), all models can also be easily attached to monitor arms.
Features such as hardware-based low blue light technology (TÜV EyeComfort) and flicker-free image reproduction help to reduce fatigue during long working days.
