ASUS has unveiled the TUF gaming monitors of the new Series Five, making a strong statement in the gaming scene. The series comprises over 20 models and is aimed at a wide range of requirements – from price-conscious gamers to ambitious e-sports enthusiasts. With innovations in five key areas – speed, image quality, smooth gameplay, AI-supported gaming features and simplified operation – the monitors are designed to offer an all-round improved gaming experience. The VG27AQML5A and VG34WQML5A models in particular stand out with their high-end specifications.

  • Refresh rates of up to 300 Hz and response times of 0.3 ms
  • Adaptive-Sync, G-SYNC® compatibility and FreeSync™ Premium for smooth gameplay
  • Up to 95% DCI-P3 color space coverage and VESA DisplayHDR™ 400
  • Gaming AI functions such as Dynamic Crosshair, Shadow Boost and AI Visual

Focus on speed and performance

A key feature of the new series is the significantly increased speed. With refresh rates of up to 300 Hz and a response time of 0.3 ms, the monitors offer a clear advantage for anyone looking for a decisive edge in fast-paced games. This is complemented by ASUS ELMB Sync technology, which reduces motion blur and, in combination with Adaptive Sync, ensures a smooth gaming experience without tearing. The series is therefore aimed at both competitive e-sports players and gamers who value butter-smooth animations.

ASUS also makes its mark in the ultra-wide format: The VG34WQML5A achieves 250 Hz (OC) and combines this with a VA panel that enables particularly immersive gaming experiences on large-format displays. This means that the series not only covers classic gaming setups, but also scenarios in which overview and immersion are crucial.

Picture quality and immersive display

In addition to speed, ASUS attaches great importance to image quality. Up to 95% coverage of the DCI-P3 color space and VESA DisplayHDR™ 400 ensure vivid, high-contrast displays that are impressive for both gaming and multimedia use.

For gamers, this means that explosions look more intense, dark scenes have more depth and color gradients appear more realistic. Especially in combination with the high frame rate, the monitors unfold their full potential. This mixture of performance and picture quality clearly positions the TUF Series Five as a strong all-round solution for different gaming styles.

AI-supported gaming functions

Another highlight are the new AI features, which are controlled via the DisplayWidget Center. Functions such as Dynamic Crosshair, which automatically adjusts the crosshair color, or Dynamic Shadow Boost, which specifically brightens dark image areas, provide tactical advantages in games. With AI Visual, the software automatically recognizes the screen content and dynamically adjusts the display settings.

The DisplayWidget Center also offers the option of sharing profiles with other devices or even directly with the setups of streamers and professionals. For users, this means less manual fine-tuning and more focus on the actual game.
