The ProArt series from ASUS is aimed at professional content creators. With the ASUS ProArt Cinema PQ07, they have now presented an exciting micro-LED display at the broadcasting trade show NAB 2023, which with a size of 135 inches also cuts a good figure in the home theater and has a lot to offer technically.
The ASUS ProArt Cinema PQ07 in detail
Officially, the manufacturer calls the ASUS ProArt Cinema PQ07 a monitor, but with a screen diagonal of 135 inches, the device also competes with modern smart TVs in the home theater – only that it comes without TV functions.
Be that as it may. It resolves in 4K UHD resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels and achieves a pixel density of 32.6 ppi, which should also make the monitor suitable for previewing studio productions.
The micro-LED display achieves a peak brightness of 2,000 nits and supports HDR10. The DCI-P3 color space is covered by 95 percent. The pixel pitch is said to be 0.7815 mm, which is less than other micro-LED displays, according to the manufacturer.
However, ASUS has not revealed prices yet. Considering the competition, for example from Samsung, we should be looking at a five- or six-figure range here.

ASUS ProArt Display PA24US
Much more compact and presumably cheaper comes the 24-inch ASUS ProArt Display PA24US. It is the first model in the series with SDI (Serial Digital Interface) connectivity. Serial Digital Interface is a serial digital interface mainly used to transmit uncompressed and unencrypted video data over coaxial cable or optical fiber.
SDI enables the transmission of picture, sound and metadata over a single connection and is primarily used in professional television studios/broadcasters, digital cinemas and event technology.
The monitor relies on an IPS panel and comes with a 4K UHD resolution. A brightness of up to 600 cd/m² is achieved, while the DCI-P3 color space is covered by 95 percent and the factory calibration with Delta E <1 turns out particularly accurate. Again, ASUS has not yet mentioned prices or availability.
