ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced the availability of the Strix OLED XG32U series, setting a new standard in high-end gaming displays. The XG32UCWMG and XG32UCWG models are the world’s first 4K WOLED monitors with TrueBlack Glossy Film – a special coating that greatly reduces reflections and thus improves image quality in almost any environment. Both models combine high refresh rates, advanced panel protection technologies and a space-saving design for ambitious gaming setups.
- World’s first 4K WOLED gaming monitors with TrueBlack glossy film
- Dual mode: 4K resolution or FHD with up to 480 Hz (depending on model)
- OLED Care Pro suite and Neo Proximity sensor to protect against burn-in
- Ultra-compact stand with flexible ergonomics and multiple connections
Advanced OLED technology for uncompromising picture quality
The new Strix OLED XG32U series from ASUS ROG relies heavily on innovative panel technology. Thanks to the TrueBlack Glossy film, ambient reflections are reduced by up to 38 percent compared to conventional WOLED panels. As a result, black tones appear undistorted even in brightly lit rooms, while the Clear Pixel Edge algorithm ensures a razor-sharp display – particularly important for text, fine lines or creative applications.

The special feature is the dual-mode OLED: at the touch of a button, gamers can switch between crystal-clear 4K images or extremely fast FHD values. The XG32UCWMG achieves an impressive 480 Hz, while the XG32UCWG offers 330 Hz. This is supported by Extreme Low Motion Blur and OLED Anti-Flicker 2.0, which ensures smooth movements without annoying flickering – ideal for intensive gaming sessions, whether competitive shooters or immersive AAA titles. In addition, the integrated aspect ratio control offers adapted 24- and 27-inch window sizes, which are particularly beneficial for FPS gamers.
Protection and reliability at a high level
OLED technologies are often criticized for being prone to burn-in effects – this is where ASUS takes precautions. The OLED Care Pro suite works with pixel updates, image shifts and a targeted brightness limit for logos to extend panel life. In addition, the Neo Proximity Sensor provides further protection: it automatically dims the display as soon as the user leaves the workplace and reactivates it when they return. The detection distance can be flexibly adjusted.

For gamers who want to make a long-term investment, ASUS also offers a three-year burn-in warranty on the monitors – a clear signal in terms of reliability. This means that the Strix OLED XG32U series remains at a high level, not only technically but also in terms of longevity.
Space-saving design and powerful features
In addition to picture quality, design also plays an important role. The newly developed ultra-compact stand saves up to 60% space compared to previous models and can be fully tilted, swiveled and adjusted in height. This leaves more space on the desk – whether for gaming peripherals or streaming setups.
The features are also impressive: with two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, USB-C with 15-watt power supply, USB hub and headphone socket, the series offers a wide range of connection options. The DisplayWidget Center software allows users to manage picture modes, firmware updates and the integrated Auto KVM – the latter makes it easy to control two PCs or laptops with just one keyboard and mouse combination.
Price and availability
The new ROG Strix OLED monitors are now available from specialist retailers and online retailers as well as the ASUS webshop.
