With the ROG Strix GS-BE18000, ASUS Republic of Gamers is launching a WiFi 7 router that sets new standards in terms of performance, stability and user-friendliness. The new gaming router is aimed at anyone who doesn’t want to compromise on network speed and security – whether for online gaming, streaming or controlling a complex smart home setup. State-of-the-art hardware and sophisticated software functions turn the GS-BE18000 into a control center for top digital performance.

  • Tri-band WiFi 7 with up to 18,000 Mbps and 320 MHz channel width
  • Two dedicated 2.5G gaming ports with automatic prioritization
  • Quad-core processor, eight internal antennas, 300 m² range
  • Smart Home Master for IoT, parental control and simple network management

Gaming performance without compromise

At the heart of the ROG Strix GS-BE18000 is a 2.0 GHz quad-core CPU that ensures consistently high performance even under heavy load. The combination of Tri-Band WiFi 7 with Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 4K QAM modulation ensures a theoretical data throughput of up to 18 Gbps. The router therefore offers a future-proof basis for data-intensive applications, whether for online multiplayer games or simultaneous 4K streams.

Particularly interesting for gamers: Two dedicated 2.5 gigabit ports automatically prioritize data traffic for connected gaming devices. This ensures a low-latency experience without manual configuration – crucial for competitive matches. The whole thing is supported by the practical ROG software and Smart Home Master, which can connect multiple devices with optimized SSIDs at the touch of a button.

The integrated Aura RGB lighting also gives the router a visual statement and complements the look of existing ROG setups.

Smart features for the connected home

The GS-BE18000 is not only aimed at ambitious gamers, but also at users with complex home networks. Thanks to eight internal antennas with copper-amplified technology and independent front-end modules, the router reliably covers up to 300 m² – even larger apartments and detached houses remain free of dead spots. The combination of powerful hardware and intelligent software makes it the control center for modern smart homes.

Individual SSIDs can be assigned, IoT devices isolated or parental controls set up via the ASUS router app or the web interface. The MLO network is particularly worth mentioning: MLO-enabled devices benefit from a more stable connection via a special subnet – a sensible solution for avoiding interference.

Security has also been taken into account: Triple-level network protection with AiProtection Pro, VPN support and Safe Browsing ensure a high level of security – both in the gaming sector and for private data or smart household devices.

Conclusion

The ROG Strix GS-BE18000 combines state-of-the-art WiFi 7 technology with dedicated gaming functions and comprehensive smart home integration. Its long range, lightning-fast connections and intelligent user interface make it a powerful solution for ambitious network users. With an RRP of €460.95, the router is now available from specialist and online retailers as well as the ASUS webshop in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. A strong performance for all those who want to make their home network fit for the future.
