Bose is expanding its popular SoundLink series with two new models: the Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth Speaker (2nd gen.) and the Bose SoundLink Home Bluetooth Speaker. Both devices focus on improved sound quality, modern design and flexible application options – whether for outdoor adventures or use in the living room. In addition, Bose is introducing the new SpeechClarity technology for the QC Ultra Earbuds, which makes phone calls sound even clearer.
- SoundLink Micro (2nd gen): Louder, clearer sound, up to 12 hours of battery life, IP67-certified
- SoundLink Home: Compact home speaker with integrated stand, up to 9 hours battery life
- Both with Bluetooth multipoint, USB-C and stereo pairing function
- SpeechClarity update for QC Ultra earbuds ensures significantly improved voice quality
SoundLink Micro (2nd gen.) – robust, compact, powerful
The new SoundLink Micro stays true to its name: small, handy and perfect for on the go. With revised acoustics, it delivers an even louder, clearer sound without losing the powerful bass of the previous generation. Thanks to IP67 certification, the speaker is dust and waterproof – a plus point for use on the beach, when camping or on a bike.

An optimized nylon fabric strap makes it easy to attach to bags, backpacks or even bicycle handlebars. Bluetooth 5.4 technology with multipoint connection allows two devices to be paired at the same time, and if you want even more sound, you can connect two micro speakers for true stereo sound. With up to 12 hours of battery life, the speaker can easily last a whole day.
The SoundLink Micro will be available from August 26 in black and from September 23 in Blue Dusk for €119 (RRP) directly from Bose.de.
SoundLink Home – clear sound for your own four walls
With the SoundLink Home, Bose is launching a portable speaker on the market that is specially tailored for home use. The compact housing with integrated stand fits seamlessly into living spaces, while the Bluetooth 5.3 technology with multipoint function makes switching between devices seamless.

The battery life of up to nine hours is enough for extended listening sessions, and thanks to USB-C, the speaker is quickly ready for use again. An integrated microphone also allows high-quality phone calls. For even more immersive sound, two SoundLink Home speakers can be paired in stereo or synchronous mode.
Pre-orders start on September 3 in the colors Light Silver, Cool Grey and Warm Wood. The official sales launch is on September 11 for €229 (RRP).
SpeechClarity update for QC Ultra earbuds
In addition to the new speakers, Bose is also introducing SpeechClarity technology – an AI-powered feature that optimizes voice quality during phone calls. The update is available for the QC Ultra Earbuds (2nd generation) and builds on improvements already introduced in June. The aim is to filter out ambient noise even more effectively and transmit voices more clearly – a plus point for frequent callers.
Conclusion
With the SoundLink Micro (2nd gen.) and the SoundLink Home, Bose covers two areas of application – from outdoor adventures to living room concerts. Both models score points with the latest Bluetooth technology, practical features and an attractive design. The speakers are priced in the mid-premium segment, while the SpeechClarity update further enhances the QC Ultra earbuds.
