CHERRY wants to revolutionize everyday office life with a new generation of mechanical keyboards. The KW 300 MX, KW 300W MX, KW 550 MX LP and KW X ULP 2.0 MINI models combine high-quality mechanics with a quiet typing experience, compact formats and wireless freedom – tailor-made for use in the office or home office.
- Compact, sound-insulated design for quiet working
- Various switch technologies for individual typing preferences
- Wireless connection via Bluetooth 5.2 or 2.4 GHz, alternatively USB-C
- Sustainable materials and plastic-free packaging
Quiet typing feel meets mechanical precision
CHERRY is responding to a clear trend with this product range: while gamers have been able to choose from a large selection of mechanical keyboards with eye-catching RGB lighting and striking sound for years, the office sector has so far been dominated by classic membrane keyboards. The new models now bring the advantages of mechanical switches to the office – but without the annoying volume and colorful lighting effects.

The KW 300 MX and KW 300W MX are based on a compact 82-key layout with a soundproofed housing. The new MX2A switches in combination with high-quality PBT keycaps ensure a particularly pleasant, soft typing feel. Thanks to the hot-swap base, the switches can even be replaced without any technical knowledge. The discreet white backlighting can be adjusted in ten levels or deactivated completely. In addition to Bluetooth 5.2, a wired USB-C connection is also available and security features such as AES-128 encryption round off the package. The price is 139.99 euros, available from August 5, 2025.
Flat, elegant and ergonomic
Those who prefer a flatter keyboard will find an alternative in the KW 550 MX LP with CHERRY MX Low Profile 2.0 switches. With a height of less than 22 millimetres, the model is particularly suitable for users who prefer an ergonomically low hand position.

The white LEDs can be customized, and the keyboard can be operated either via Bluetooth 5.2 or USB-C. Here too, CHERRY relies on durable PBT keycaps and plastic-free packaging. The KW 550 MX LP will be launched on August 5, 2025 for 119.99 euros.
Ultra-compact with versatility
CHERRY has the KW X ULP 2.0 MINI in its range for users with particularly limited desk space or frequent mobile typists. The 75% layout with ultra-low profile switches combines full functionality with a minimal footprint. The housing is enhanced by an anodized aluminium plate and the keys are made of robust polycarbonate.

In addition to USB-C, both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.2 Low Energy are available. A small highlight is the magnetic nano receiver, which can be stowed directly in the housing. A bag made from recycled plastic is included for safe transportation. At 219.99 euros, this model is the most expensive in the new series and will also be available from August 5, 2025.
Conclusion
CHERRY’s new office keyboards combine mechanical precision, a quiet typing experience and wireless flexibility. Whether compact and muted, flat and ergonomic or ultra-compact for on the go – there is a suitable model for different working styles. The sustainable design and plastic-free packaging also underline the claim of combining modern technology with responsibility. All four models will be available from August 5, 2025, at prices between 119.99 and 219.99 euros. Further details can be found on the official website.
