Corsair Frame 500D with generous interior space
With the Corsair Frame 500D, Corsair has presented a new case with plenty of space. The FRAME 5000D raises the bar for modern PC cases – in the truest sense of the word. The interior is over a third larger than the previous model and therefore offers space for massive components. Particularly striking: support for several 360 mm radiators or even a 420 mm radiator at the top, making the case the perfect basis for custom water cooling systems.
New standards have also been considered. The case supports rear-connected mainboards such as ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero and Gigabyte Project Stealth.
Those who like to focus on visibility can mount their GPU vertically thanks to the rotating PCIe bracket and riser cable (sold separately) – including an integrated GPU anti-sag bracket for extra stability. For users who want to combine performance and tidiness, RapidRoute 2.0 ensures tidy cable management.
Cooling flexibility with InfiniRail
One of the highlights is the new InfiniRail fan mounting system. The customizable rails enable the precise positioning of a wide range of fan sizes – from 120 mm to 200 mm – exactly where they are needed. This modular solution not only allows maximum air circulation, but also individual accents in the case layout.
The FRAME 5000D is supplied with four 140 mm RS fans as standard – optionally in a non-illuminated or ARGB version. Three of these are located at the front as intake fans, the fourth at the rear for the removal of warm air. The fans rely on magnetic levitation bearings for quiet operation and are particularly easy to connect thanks to daisy chain technology.
Storage or water cooling? Both are possible
The FRAME 5000D is also flexible when it comes to storage solutions. Up to six 2.5-inch SSDs and two 3.5-inch HDDs can be accommodated in the housing – enough capacity for complex gaming setups or data-intensive applications. If you want to use the space differently, you can remove the drive bays completely.
This creates space for extensive water cooling components or additional cable ducts. The modular design invites you to get creative: Whether airflow optimization, RGB-heavy showcase build or minimalist workstation system – the FRAME 5000D provides the basis for almost any vision.
Price and availability
With the FRAME 5000D, Corsair is launching a case that is clearly aimed at ambitious PC builders – without overtaxing beginners. The combination of generous space, modular features and well thought-out details makes it an attractive option for anyone who wants to customize their system. The FRAME 5000D is now available via the Corsair webstore and from authorized dealers worldwide. The version with ARGB lighting costs €179.90.
