The Doogee V Pad is a new Android tablet that is now available in Germany via Amazon. Technical features
The V Pad supports 5G networks via an integrated 5G modem chip in the MediaTek SoC MT8791 (also known as Dimensity 7050) and offers dual SIM functionality – a rarity in this price range. With two Cortex-A78 cores and six Cortex-A55 cores, the chip delivers solid everyday performance for surfing, streaming and office applications. The 12-inch IPS panel has a resolution of 2,000 × 1,200 pixels (≈ 194 PPI) and supports a refresh rate of 90 Hz.
According to the manufacturer, the slim design enables a screen-to-body ratio of around 87%. Widevine L1 certification and four stereo speakers promise high-quality video and media playback. 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory are installed as standard – the storage space can be expanded via microSD cards if required. The storage speed complies with the UFS 3.1 standard, which enables fast loading and saving processes.
Cameras & battery
The rear main camera has a resolution of 13 MP, the front camera has 8 MP – sufficient resolution for video calls and occasional photos, but no high-end performance in the camera sector. The 8,800 mAh battery promises plenty of stamina.
The aluminum housing is only around 7.9 mm thin and weighs around 572 g. Other features include Bluetooth 5.x, Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax), USB-C, GPS & GLONASS, reverse charging, Privacy Shield functions with granular rights management as well as a one-touch split screen and WPS Office pre-installed.

Despite a somewhat low charging power and an IPS display without AMOLED technology, it delivers the necessary performance and versatility for many applications.
