Dreame, previously known primarily for smart household appliances, is expanding its portfolio with a new series of mini LED televisions. The models in the Dreame S100 series are designed to impress with their modern display design, high refresh rates and a powerful, integrated sound system. With screen diagonals from 55 to 86 inches, the manufacturer aims to appeal not only to home cinema fans, but also to gamers.

  • Mini LED technology with up to 1,000 cd/m² peak brightness
  • 144 Hz panel with VRR and 8 ms response time
  • Integrated sound system with 11 drivers and up to 70 watts of power
  • Available in 55, 65, 75 and 86 inch sizes

Picture quality with mini LED and 144 Hz

The new Dreame S100 televisions rely on Mini-LED technology, which ensures a greater contrast range and finer brightness control. While the 55-inch model achieves a typical brightness of 350 cd/m², the larger versions are 400 cd/m². The top model with 86 inches is particularly impressive, achieving a maximum peak brightness of 1,000 cd/m² and is therefore also suitable for HDR content.

Another key feature is the high refresh rate of 144 Hz, which is rather rare in this price range. This is intended to display fast movements in films, sports broadcasts and games particularly smoothly. Together with VRR (Variable Refresh Rate) and a low latency of 8 milliseconds, the Dreame S100 models are also suitable for console and PC gamers who value responsive displays.

The combination of mini LED backlight, high maximum brightness and adaptive refresh rate clearly positions the TV in competition with established brands – especially as Dreame could potentially score points with an attractive price level.

Integrated sound system with 70 watts

In addition to the picture, Dreame places particular emphasis on audio performance. Instead of relying on separate speakers, an integrated soundbar is part of the design. A total of 11 drivers are used, including upward-facing units for surround sound effects. The maximum output power is up to 70 watts, which is unusually powerful for televisions in this price range and design.

The system is designed to offer surround-like sound without the need for additional speakers – a clear plus for users who prefer a compact setup but don’t want to compromise on sound quality. Through this integration, Dreame is positioning the S100 models as an all-in-one home theater solution that can offer sufficient audio reserves for both movie lovers and gaming sessions.

System integration and size diversity

The Dreame S100 series is available in four sizes: 55, 65, 75 and 86 inches. All models are smart TVs with their own operating system so that streaming services and media libraries are available without external hardware. The operating concept should be user-friendly and provide support for the most important apps.

A pre-order page on the global Dreame website already indicates an international launch. For the Russian market, the 65-inch model is listed with a price of around 920 euros (discounted). However, official information on the market launch and prices in Europe is still pending.

Conclusion

Dreame is entering the TV market for the first time with the S100 series, combining mini LED technology with an integrated, powerful sound system and a 144 Hz refresh rate. As a result, the devices should be convincing both as home cinema televisions and as gaming displays. Dreame is likely to be priced below established premium brands – however, exact data for Europe is still awaited. However, the mix of strong picture and sound already makes the new televisions a potentially exciting candidate in the smart TV segment.
