With the new DELTA 3 series, EcoFlow offers innovative energy supply solutions. The latest series consists of the EcoFlow DELTA 3, which is the basic version, and the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, which offers expandable storage. This enables EcoFlow to meet different customer requirements with just one power station.

The EcoFlow DELTA 3

EcoFlow is one of the most successful and well-known manufacturers in the power station sector. We were able to test this ourselves with great models such as the EcoFlow DELTA 2 (review, € 699.00 *) or the EcoFlow DELTA 2 Max (review, € 1,799.00 *). The DELTA series is now entering the latest round and celebrating its market launch with two different models.

The EcoFlow DELTA 3 series is designed to provide both home users and professionals with a reliable power source. With a modular design, fast charging times and high performance, the devices appeal to a wide audience. Both the DELTA 3 and the DELTA 3 Plus rely on long-life lithium iron phosphate batteries, which allow up to 3,600 charging cycles and therefore promise years of use.

Important differences between DELTA 3 and DELTA 3 Plus

Capacity and expandability

  • DELTA 3: The basic version offers a capacity of 3,600 Wh and is aimed at users who are looking for a portable but powerful power station. This capacity is sufficient for numerous applications such as charging electrical appliances, operating household appliances or camping.
  • DELTA 3 Plus: This model extends the capacity to up to 10,800 Wh by connecting up to two additional batteries. It is therefore ideal for professional applications or as a backup power supply for larger devices or longer downtimes.

Performance and charging options

Both models offer a continuous output of 3,600 W, but they differ in terms of peak output. While the DELTA 3 reaches a peak of 7,200 W, the DELTA 3 Plus can also cover higher peak loads for a few seconds. Both devices support solar charging, but the charging time of the DELTA 3 Plus is often shorter due to optimized charging parameters when all expansion modules are connected.

Mobility and areas of application

  • DELTA 3: With a weight of approx. 51 kg, it is heavy, but remains portable. It is particularly popular for outdoor enthusiasts or when camping.
  • DELTA 3 Plus: Due to the expansion options and modular design, this model is aimed more at users with stationary requirements, e.g. for use as an emergency power system in the home.

Common highlights of the series

  • Long-lasting battery technology: Both models use lithium iron phosphate cells, which are known for their safety and long service life.
  • App connectivity: Both DELTA 3 and DELTA 3 Plus offer WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, allowing users to monitor all important information via app.
  • Fast charging: Thanks to X-Stream technology, both devices can be fully charged in under two hours.

Conclusion: Which model is suitable for whom?

The EcoFlow DELTA 3 is ideal for users who are looking for a powerful but compact power station, e.g. for traveling or minor power outages. The EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus, on the other hand, scores with its expandability and is perfect for those who need maximum capacity and flexibility, such as craftsmen, event organizers or as a reliable backup for households.
