eufy, the manufacturer of smart home devices, is presenting a real world first at IFA 2025 in Berlin. The eufy Marswalker is the very first of its kind. It is a vacuum and mopping robot that can climb stairs. It also includes a new flagship vacuum robot. There is also a new model in the video security sector, the eufyCam S4.
World’s first vacuum and mopping robot with stair climbing function
The experts at eufy have come up with something very special. The biggest challenge for any robot hoover is multi-storey buildings and the associated stairs. Of course, you can get your own little helper for each floor, but this is associated with corresponding costs.
The solution is the eufy Marswalker. It can automatically recognize different types of stairs and move up and down them independently. According to eufy, the Marswalker can climb straight, U-shaped or complicated stairs.
Once the job is done, the vacuum and mopping robot finds its own way back to the charging station. There, the mopping attachment is then automatically cleaned and the dust container emptied.
However, eufy is not yet revealing any more information about the Marswalker. Sales will not start until next year.
Vacuum and mopping robot with lots of technology
What will be released this year, however, is the eufy S2. This is the most powerful vacuum and mopping robot from eufy. The S2 is packed with the best technology on offer. AeroTurbo 2.0 delivers a constant 100 Air Watts with a suction power of 30,000 Pascal.
The roller technology of its predecessor is further optimized for floor cleaning. HydroJet Mop 2.0 uses electrolyzed water, which reduces germs by 99.9 percent. The floor is cleaned at 360 revolutions per minute and is said to provide the best cleaning result with 15 Newtons. Carpet edges of up to 53 millimetres are also mastered with ease. For precise cleaning, a 3D semantic map of the surroundings is created using large model mapping.
An interesting gimmick is the aroma scents that can be used. Citrus basil, bamboo sage and bergamot lychee are available. They are sprayed during the cleaning cycle.
The eufy S2 will be available on the market at the end of October for 1,599.99 euros.
Safety from several angles and with intelligent functions
The POE NVR System S4 Max bundle from eufy has been available for the (semi)-professional sector since July of this year. Now the new top model for home use is being introduced. The eufyCam S4 combines a 4K camera with an additional PTZ camera. The pan-tilt-zoom camera has two lenses – one with a wide-angle lens and one with a close-up lens.
The upper 4K camera lens is intended to be used for entrances and driveways, for example. Details can be seen up to a distance of nine meters. The PTZ camera is used to capture larger areas thanks to the 360° view. The intelligent functions also keep several people in focus if possible. If several cameras are in use, recordings are merged into one video using cross camera tracking.
The eufyCam S4 can be used at any time of year. This is ensured by the IP65 certification, a solar panel and the associated rechargeable battery. It is therefore not necessary to lay a cable, as the connection to the camera also works wirelessly.
The eufyCam S4 will be available in stores and on the eufy website from October. The individual price is 299 euros. Bundle prices are also available in conjunction with the eufy Homebase 3. The first bundle with two cameras is available for 699 euros. With four cameras, the price is 1099 euros.
Conclusion
The eufy Marswalker in particular seems to be a real highlight of IFA 2025. In addition to the stair-climbing robot, there are other interesting products that you should not miss. eufy and Anker Innovations, the group under which Anker and soundcore also operate, can be found in Hall 2.2 Stand 130.
