FRITZ! is launching four new products in its FRITZ! range just in time for the fall. In addition to a powerful fiber optic FRITZ!Box with Wi-Fi 7, an outdoor repeater, a new WLAN repeater with top performance and a versatile FRITZ!Fon have been added to the portfolio for the first time. This is the manufacturer’s response to current trends such as fiber optic expansion, the introduction of Wi-Fi 7 and the growing demand for stable networking both indoors and outdoors.

  • FRITZ!Box 5690: fast fiber optic box with Wi-Fi 7

  • FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor: first outdoor repeater with PoE

  • FRITZ!Repeater 2700: WLAN booster with Wi-Fi 7 and Mesh

  • FRITZ!Fon M3: Telephone with multimedia and smart home functions

Fiber optic turbo with Wi-Fi 7

It all starts with the FRITZ!Box 5690, which has been specially developed for the future of the fiber optic network. It can be used directly on all GPON and AON connections nationwide, allowing users to benefit regardless of their provider. With Wi-Fi 7, the box supports the latest standard for wireless communication and enables parallel applications without any loss of speed. This makes it particularly exciting for data-intensive applications such as gaming, 4K streaming or home office scenarios. Users also get the typical FRITZ! complete package: telephone system, smart home connection and the proven mesh technology that ensures continuous Wi-Fi. This combination makes the 5690 a central building block for modern home networks.

Stable WLAN right into the garden

With the FRITZ!Repeater 1610 Outdoor, AVM is expanding its portfolio into a previously unoccupied segment. The weatherproof repeater was designed for patios, balconies and gardens and ensures stable connections even outdoors.

The range is further improved by Power over Ethernet (PoE), which means that the repeater can also be operated in locations without a power socket. This solution proves to be extremely practical, especially with increasing outdoor use – be it streaming in the garden, garden parties with smart speaker integration or working on the patio. With its robust housing and flexible installation, AVM is closing a gap in the Wi-Fi range.

More power for the home network

The FRITZ!Repeater 2700, which ensures a fast and stable data supply in all rooms thanks to Wi-Fi 7 and intelligent mesh functionality, is being launched at the same time. In combination with a suitable FRITZ!Box, a seamless home network can be set up that remains stable even with many simultaneous streams or smart home applications.

The 2700 ensures that high bandwidths are distributed effectively – for example when gaming, streaming and working at the same time. For households with many smart devices, it is an important upgrade to meet current and future requirements.

Multifunctional phone for smart home and multimedia

The FRITZ!Fon M3 completes the product range. This is not a classic DECT telephone, but an all-round device. In addition to telephony, it offers multimedia functions such as Internet radio or podcast playback and can also be used as a control center for smart home devices.

Thanks to its high-resolution display and enhanced user interface, the device supports modern usage that goes beyond pure telephony. AVM thus combines classic communication needs with the possibilities of the networked home.

Conclusion

With the four new products, AVM covers a wide range of applications – from high-speed Internet and stable outdoor Wi-Fi to smart telephony. The FRITZ!Box 5690 and the repeaters rely on the latest standards such as Wi-Fi 7, while the FRITZ!Fon M3 scores with its versatility. This strengthens AVM’s position as a complete provider for the home network. The devices are available immediately; the FRITZ!Box 5690 starts at a price of around 349 euros, the repeaters are expected to cost between 120 and 180 euros and the FRITZ!Fon M3 around 100 euros.
