HP Omen 35L

With the Omen 35L, HP is launching a more compact alternative to the larger 45L model, which offers impressive performance values despite its reduced dimensions. The so-called stealth version does without RGB lighting and side windows, but is still clearly aimed at users who value high-performance hardware. The omission of the Cryo Chamber used in the 45L does not mean a massive loss of performance – the top models also come with the latest processor and graphics card options.

  • Compact gaming desktop with up to GeForce RTX 5090 and Ryzen 9 9950X3D
  • Choice of Intel or AMD processors, up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM
  • 240 mm water cooling, PCIe 5.0 SSD option and modern front panel
  • Stealth design without RGB lighting and side window

Compact design without compromising on performance

With its dimensions of 210 x 408 x 410 millimetres, the HP Omen 35L also fits on smaller desks or in more cramped gaming setups. However, the compact design does not mean that performance has to be compromised. On the contrary: HP offers configurations with high-end hardware such as the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D or Intel’s current top models as well as the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090.

Entry-level users will also find suitable variants: On the processor side, the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D or the Intel Core i5-14400F are available, while the graphics cards range from the GeForce RTX 5050 to the absolute flagships. Depending on the CPU, a model with an Intel Z790H or AMD B850 chipset is used as the mainboard, which provides a solid basis for future upgrades.

Customizable equipment for different requirements

The Omen 35L can be ordered with 16 to 64 GB DDR5 memory. For mass storage, HP relies on fast NVMe SSDs with up to 2 TB capacity, with PCIe 5.0 models also available for an additional charge. The built-in 240 mm water cooling ensures efficient heat dissipation and quiet operation, even under high load.

An interesting detail concerns the front connections: The AMD version offers a USB-C port with up to 10 Gbit/s, while buyers of the Intel version will have to make do with 5 Gbit/s. Otherwise, both versions are well-equipped in terms of connectivity to easily connect peripherals such as headsets, external drives or capture cards.

Design focus on understatement

While many gaming PCs rely on eye-catching RGB staging, the Stealth version of the Omen 35L takes a more discreet approach. The housing has no illuminated elements and no glass windows, making it inconspicuous even in office environments. This simplicity has no impact on cooling or upgradeability – components can still be easily replaced or upgraded.

Conclusion

The HP Omen 35L combines a space-saving design with an impressive hardware selection. Whether as a quiet high-end gaming PC or as an inconspicuous all-rounder – the variety of configurations covers many requirements. Price and availability vary depending on the configuration, but the first models are already listed at selected retailers. If you are looking for performance without optical excess, the Omen 35L is an exciting option. The gaming PC is set to launch in October 2025 with prices starting at 1,499.99 US dollars.
