Anker is revamping its Prime series, which stands for high charging speeds and safety, and is launching an updated version of some devices on the market. The perfect place for the presentation is IFA 2025 in Berlin. In addition to charging devices, Anker will also be showing a docking station with a bunch of connections.

Strong charging power in a compact design

The Anker Prime charger (160W) kicks things off. It has a 1.3-inch touch display that shows all charging information in real time. You can charge three devices at the same time. Anker claims to be able to charge a MacBook Pro, an iPad Pro and an iPhone 16 Pro simultaneously up to 80 percent and is just as fast as with the individual original power supply units. Despite this, the charger is 43 percent smaller than the 140-watt power supply from Apple itself.

Since temperature plays a role at higher power, Anker uses its ActiveShield 4.0 technology. It monitors temperatures with ten million measuring points per day.

Thick power bank for fast charging on the go

The Anker Prime Powerbank (26,000 mAh, 300 W) is also released on the same day. There are three ports – 2x USB-C and 1x USB-A. The two USB-C ports each deliver up to 140 watts, while USB-A delivers 22.55 watts. This gives us a total output of 300 watts. To charge the power bank quickly, there is a dual input with 250 watts of power. This gives you 50 percent charging power in just 15 minutes. You won’t have any problems when traveling by plane thanks to the 99.75 watt-hour limit. A display on the front shows you charging information.

The Anker Prime Powerbank with 20,000 mAh and an output of 220 watts will be added a little later. However, an exact date is not yet known.

Docking station with app support

Do you need a bunch of interfaces and support for many standards? The Anker Prime docking station offers 14 interfaces including high-speed charging and fast data transfer.

The docking station supports triple monitor setups with one 8K and two 4K displays. Four USB-C ports with 160 watts of power and 10 gigabits per second are available. There are also three USB-A ports, two HDMI 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, 2.5 Gigabit RJ45, SD/TF 3.0 and an audio port.

All three devices will be available from September 25 on the Anker website, from Amazon and from general retailers. We do not yet have a price, but this will be published shortly before the launch.

Charger with 70 watts for the backpack

Shortly beforehand, from September 10, there will also be a new device for the Nano series for 49.99 euros in addition to the Prime series. The series impresses with its good performance and compact design. The Anket Nano charger has two USB-C ports with up to 70 watts of power. The USB-A port offers 33 watts.

Anker compares the charger in size with Apple’s 67W Macbook charger. It is 54 percent smaller. Two GaN (gallium nitride) chips are installed for better efficiency and lower temperatures.

IFA outlook

Anker, part of Anker Innovations, is showing a variety of its charging technologies. The same group also includes smart home device manufacturer eufy and audio and video expert soundcore. All three are showing new products and the group is being rebranded with a new logo and brand structure. For example, the Nebula and AnkerWork brands will become soundcore. We are excited to see what else Anker Innovations and associated companies have to show at IFA 2025 in Berlin.
