At IFA 2025 in Berlin, DJI is not only presenting a wide range of its latest drone and camera solutions, but is also introducing a new highlight for content creators, vloggers and film and sound production professionals in the form of the DJI Mic 3. From September 5 to 9, visitors to the trade fair will be able to experience the entire product portfolio up close and try it out for themselves in workshops.
- DJI Mic 3 with support for four transmitters, eight receivers and dual-band interference suppression
- DJI Osmo 360 as the company’s first 360-degree camera with 8K video
- Drone highlights: Mavic 4 Pro, Avata 2, Air 3S, Flip, Neo and Mini 4 Pro
- Power 2000 and Power 1000 V2 series power stations for flexible power supply
DJI Mic 3: Flexibility for content creators
The Mic 3 is the most exciting innovation in DJI’s audio segment. It is based on a particularly lightweight, wireless system that supports up to four transmitters and eight receivers simultaneously – a function that can be particularly important for interviews, podcasts or film sets. With features such as timecode synchronization, dual-band interference suppression and intelligent signal management, the Mic 3 ensures clear, reliable audio recordings even in demanding environments.
DJI is targeting a customer group that demands more flexibility and stability in audio production. In combination with the existing camera systems and gimbals, this creates a complete creative ecosystem. Of particular interest is the seamless integration into the Osmo and Pocket series, which content creators already appreciate for their compact design and image quality.
Innovations in cameras and drones
In addition to the Mic 3, DJI is launching its first 360-degree camera on the market with the Osmo 360 (our test). Equipped with a 1-inch sensor and 8K video recording, it sets itself apart from many of its competitors. Large pixels (2.4 μm) should also benefit low-light recordings – an area in which 360° cameras have often been weak so far.
The complete range will be presented in the drone segment: The Mavic 4 Pro with its innovative 360° Infinity Gimbal opens up completely new perspectives, while the Avata 2 focuses on immersive flight experiences. With the Air 3S, DJI is targeting travel photographers who want to combine dual cameras and compact design. Lifestyle-oriented users get lightweight drones with integrated subject tracking with Flip and Neo. For uncomplicated flying, the Mini 4 Pro weighing less than 250 grams remains an attractive option.
DJI is also making its mark in the areas of image stabilization and film production: With the RS 4 Mini and RS 4 Pro, the manufacturer offers gimbals for different needs – from lightweight everyday setups to professional film sets. The line-up is complemented by the Ronin 4D and the SDR Transmission, which is based on software-based radio technology and promises particularly interference-resistant video transmission.
Power supply and professional applications
Another focal point at the trade fair is the extended range of portable power stations. The new Power 2000 and Power 1000 V2 are suitable for camping and road trips as well as for film productions. Particularly exciting: in countries such as Germany, the Power 2000 can even be connected to balcony power stations to feed surplus energy into the power grid. Accessories such as solar panels and quick chargers round off the range.
Professional drone solutions such as the Matrice 400, the Matrice 4 series, the Agras T50 for agriculture or the Flycart 30 delivery drone also show how DJI is increasingly focusing on corporate and industry use. This makes it clear that the company is not only targeting the consumer market, but also industrial applications.
Workshops and trade fair appearance
DJI focuses on proximity to the public: in Hall 20-149, visitors can try out all products for themselves. There will also be workshops led by experienced filmmakers and creators. They will take place on September 6 and 7 – at 11:00 a.m. with a focus on drones and at 3:00 p.m. for handheld products.
Conclusion
With the DJI Mic 3 and a greatly expanded portfolio, DJI is showing at IFA 2025 that the company has much more to offer than just drones. From audio and cameras to power supply solutions, the company is presenting an ecosystem that appeals to both private users and professionals. Pricing details for the Mic 3 have not yet been published, but availability is expected to start shortly after the trade fair. Anyone who would like to test the devices for themselves will have the opportunity to do so in Berlin until September 9.
