Kodak is presenting an exciting mix of tradition and innovation at IFA 2025 in Berlin. In Hall 20, Stand 169, the cult brand will be showcasing a product portfolio that ranges from affordable digital cameras and powerful bridge models to analog classics and devices specially developed for children. The focus is on the joy of photography – for beginners, families and nostalgics alike.

Compact photography for everyday use

With the new Kodak C1, the company is targeting users who are looking for an uncomplicated solution for everyday use. The camera combines a compact design with simple operation and practical features such as a 4x digital zoom, a 2.8-inch LCD display and four integrated retro filters.

The automatic modes take care of all settings themselves, allowing spontaneous moments to be captured without lengthy preparation. Especially in times when smartphone cameras dominate, Kodak is deliberately focusing on an affordable device that is intended to make photography more tangible again. With a price of €89.99 and different color variants, the C1 is aimed at anyone who wants to take uncomplicated photos and still have more than just a cell phone in their pocket.

Versatility with the AZ653 bridge camera

The new Kodak AZ653, which expands the bridge range, is significantly more powerful. Its 65x optical zoom makes it possible to capture distant subjects in great detail, while a 20 MP sensor and integrated image stabilization ensure clear results. With full HD video, a tilting 3-inch display and an electronic viewfinder, the camera offers flexible application options for nature, sports and travel photography.

Of particular interest are the intelligent scene and shooting modes, which help even less experienced photographers to get the best out of their subjects. This positions the AZ653 as an interface between compact and SLR cameras – powerful, yet attractively priced. The market launch is planned for early 2026, at a price of €399.99.

Technology for the youngest: BCS100

In addition to cameras, Kodak is also bringing binoculars specially developed for children to the trade fair in the form of the BCS100. It is shockproof, lightweight and ergonomically shaped to fit perfectly in small hands. With 8x magnification, a 21 mm objective lens and a wide field of view, excursions and nature observations become a playful experience. The binoculars come in bright colors and are supplied with a protective cover, carrying strap and cleaning cloth. At a price of €29.99, they are aimed at families who want to introduce their children to nature in a playful way.

The return of analog photography: H35N

With the Kodak H35N, the brand is sending out a clear signal for the comeback of analog photography. The camera is compatible with 35 mm half-format film, allowing the number of images per roll of film to be doubled – an advantage in times of rising film prices.

Its design is based on the iconic Kodak style, complemented by modern elements such as an integrated flash, a double exposure mode and a long exposure switch. With a fixed 22 mm lens and intuitive operation, the H35N appeals to both nostalgic film fans and a younger generation rediscovering the charm of analog photography. It is priced at €79.99 and is available in several colors.

Conclusion

With its new products at IFA 2025, Kodak impressively demonstrates how the brand combines tradition and modernity. From an affordable digital camera and a powerful bridge camera to analog classics and products for children, the portfolio covers a broad spectrum. While the C1, H35N and the BCS100 are available now, those interested will have to wait until early 2026 for the powerful AZ653. Kodak is thus once again positioning itself as a brand that wants to make photography accessible to everyone – whether digital, analog or playful.
