With the new iChill Frostbite Pro series, Inno3D presents two exceptionally slim high-end graphics cards based on the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080, combining true single-slot design with state-of-the-art GPU performance for the first time – made possible by a specially developed water cooler. The models are aimed at users who want to achieve maximum performance in the smallest possible space – ideal for individual custom loops and compact workstations.
- Compact high-end GPUs: RTX 5090 & 5080 in true single-slot format
- Full-cover water cooler with copper block, developed in cooperation with Alphacool
- Hose connections for integration into existing custom water circuits
- Carbon look, three DisplayPort 2.1b ports, one HDMI 2.1b port
Uncompromisingly compact: water cooling meets high-end GPU
The Inno3D iChill Frostbite Pro series goes one step further than conventional custom models. While the original iChill Frostbite still occupied 1.5 slots, the new Pro version has a genuine single-slot format – with unchanged high performance. This applies to both the top model with RTX 5090 chip and the slightly smaller version with RTX 5080. Cooling is provided by a flat copper cooler from Alphacool, which has been fully integrated into the slim housing.

In contrast to all-in-one solutions, the cooler is not self-sufficient, but relies on an external water circuit. There are therefore two connections for hoses at the rear end of the card, as is common in custom loops. This makes the Frostbite Pro the ideal option for enthusiasts who rely on individual cooling concepts anyway – for example in powerful, space-optimized ITX or workstation cases.
The RTX 5090 iChill Frostbite Pro measures 22.3 × 13.4 × 2.0 cm, while the RTX 5080 variant is slightly more compact at 18.7 × 11.0 × 2.0 cm. Both models retain the full range of connections: Three DisplayPort 2.1b and one HDMI 2.1b are on board – despite the reduced height. The 16-pin power connection is located on the top edge as usual.
Focus on design, performance and connectivity
Visually, Inno3D has opted for a simple, modern design with a carbon look on the front and rear. The cooling block itself is deliberately concealed. The design has a high-quality appearance and is functionally trimmed for maximum space efficiency – especially for users who do not want to compromise on GPU performance but have little space available.

Technically, the RTX 5090 iChill Frostbite Pro remains at the reference clock: 2,407 MHz in boost. This puts it in the same performance range as other non-overclocked custom models, but thanks to its water cooling, it offers a significantly lower thermal load – which can have a positive effect on noise and stability in continuous operation or under high load. The RTX 5080 variant also remains at reference values, but also benefits from the improved cooling performance and compact design.
The combination of single-slot design, powerful cooling and standardized dimensions makes the Frostbite Pro series particularly attractive for special builds where classic 2- or even 3-slot GPUs have no room. At the same time, it remains fully VR, multi-monitor and high-end capable – a balancing act that hardly any other model currently offers in this form.
