IFA 2025 in Berlin will once again bring groundbreaking technological innovations to the stage – including the JONR X1 Max, the new flagship from up-and-coming robot specialist JONR. With professional performance, smart functions and a focus on durability and precision, the model is not only intended to compete in the premium segment, but also to reach a wider audience thanks to its comparatively accessible price.
- 20,000 Pa suction power combined with 3 cm liftable Omni-Wheels
- Tangle-Free system for automatic hair removal
- AI obstacle detection with LiDAR and RGB camera
- Self-cleaning and drying mop function at high temperature
Professional cleaning for everyday use
One of the biggest innovations of the JONR X1 Max is the Tangle-Free Hair Removal System. While a high-speed side brush and a particularly dense main brush efficiently pick up hair, an integrated stainless steel blade prevents tangling in the brush head. Combined with 20,000 Pa suction power, hair and dust are sucked in immediately – without annoying blockages or manual reworking. This is a clear plus in convenience, especially for households with long hair or pets.

Based on a LiDAR scanner and RGB camera, the X1 Max creates high-precision maps that work reliably even in low light. It recognizes over 100 different objects to avoid collisions or wrong turns – including cables, furniture legs, pet tails or even vomit. With its 3 cm high omni wheels, it effortlessly negotiates doorsteps, carpets and room transitions without getting stuck or dragging dirt.
Conventional vacuum and mopping robots often have weaknesses at edges and under furniture. The X1 Max tackles this problem with extendable side and mop brushes that clean specifically in corners and edges. Thanks to its ultra-slim housing, it can also easily get under sofas or cupboards. This means that no stain remains untouched – both when vacuuming and mopping.
Technical performance and smart features
When it comes to performance data, the X1 Max is uncompromising. With a suction power of 20,000 Pa, it is in the absolute high-end range, sufficient to remove dust and dirt from carpets down to the deepest level. The whole thing is supported by 3 cm liftable Omni-Wheels, which are designed to enable a smooth transition between smooth floors and higher carpet edges. The mop function works with a self-cleaning high-temperature system that is automatically rinsed and dried after each use – a feature that significantly increases hygiene and reduces maintenance.

For pet owners, the robot also offers specialized pet recognition: in addition to classic obstacles, the X1 Max also identifies moving tails or unexpected incidents such as vomit. This should minimize misunderstandings in the cleaning process.
The appliance’s self-care has been raised to a new level. The robot automatically adjusts the temperature of its cleaning water to the degree of soiling so that even stubborn stains are removed efficiently. A hot air drying system then ensures that mops do not smell unpleasant or form bacteria. In addition, an automatic dust collection system with a 2.5-liter bag does the work – this only needs to be changed approximately every 60 days.
Quality with automotive standards
When building its robots, JONR relies on manufacturing standards from the automotive industry, certified in accordance with international standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and IATF 16949. The aim is to design devices that are particularly robust and durable. A milestone for the company is the award of the “Anti-Hair Wrap Q Mark” certificate from TÜV Rheinland, which will be officially presented at the IFA. This award underlines the claim to quality and practical suitability for everyday use.

Operation is flexible and intuitive. Cleaning schedules, zones and modes can be set up and adjusted at any time via the JONR app. Alternatively, the robot can be operated by voice control – compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. This means it integrates seamlessly into any smart home.
Market launch and availability
The X1 Max will be available for pre-order via Amazon from September 5, 2025 in key European markets such as Germany, France, Italy and Spain.
The JONR X1 Max is now available in stores at a price of 699.00 euros.
Conclusion
With the X1 Max, JONR presents a vacuum and mopping robot that stands out for its performance, intelligent technologies and high manufacturing quality. The model could set new standards, especially for households with animals or complex living situations.
