LG Electronics has announced the launch of its new OLED evo M5 series in Germany. With wireless True Wireless technology, state-of-the-art gaming features and optimized picture quality, the top-of-the-range TV model is aimed at both home cinema fans and gamers who value maximum performance. The series will be launched in German stores at the beginning of September and will also be presented at IFA 2025 in Berlin.

  • True Wireless with Zero Connect Box: only power cable required
  • 4K at up to 144 Hz, ultra-fast response time of less than 0.1 ms
  • NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium compatible
  • Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and AI Picture/Sound Pro for home cinema

Wireless freedom without sacrificing performance

True Wireless technology is at the heart of the new LG OLED evo M5 series. Picture and audio signals are transmitted to the TV completely wirelessly via the so-called Zero Connect Box – without any HDMI cables on the device itself. Only a power connection is required, which not only ensures a tidy appearance, but also significantly increases living comfort. External devices such as consoles or receivers can be conveniently connected to the Zero Connect Box and placed anywhere in the room.

Technically, users do not have to make any compromises. The OLED evo M5 models deliver content with 4K resolution and up to 144 Hz, supported by an input delay in the millisecond range. Gamers also benefit from compatibility with NVIDIA G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSync™ Premium, which ensures smooth and fluid gameplay. Certifications from Intertek confirm the high gaming suitability, which also proves itself in fast action scenes.

Cinema quality meets smart image optimization

In addition to wireless signal transmission, LG attaches particular importance to picture and sound quality. With Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and an optimized Filmmaker® mode, the TVs deliver a cinematic experience that automatically adapts to the ambient lighting. The new α (Alpha) 11 AI processor Gen2 ensures more precise contrasts, more depth and improved picture sharpness. This is complemented by AI Sound Pro, which simulates an 11.1.2-channel surround experience.

Particularly noteworthy is the Brightness Booster Ultimate technology, which increases the brightness of the panels by up to three times compared to conventional OLED models. Certifications for 100% color fidelity and color volume as well as the top rating of “Perfect” from TÜV Rheinland underpin the series’ quality standards. The OLED evo M5 is therefore aimed equally at home cinema enthusiasts and users who have the highest demands when it comes to gaming and entertainment.
