LG has added two new models to its popular ultra-light notebooks in the gram Pro series. With the integration of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics card and innovative hybrid AI technology, the devices are designed to set new standards not only for productive work, but also for demanding gaming. The combination of mobility, performance and smart software support makes the 2025 generation particularly interesting.
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 with DLSS 4 for better gaming performance
- Lightest devices in their class: 16-inch from 1.36 kg, 17-inch from 1.48 kg
- Hybrid AI technology with on-device and cloud functions
- WQXGA displays with 144 Hz and Dolby Atmos speaker system
Gaming performance with new RTX 5050
The integration of the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 takes the gram Pro series into a new performance class. With DLSS 4, improved frame generation and intelligent performance management, the frame rate of modern AAA titles is significantly increased. Games such as Cyberpunk 2077, God of War: Ragnarök or DOOM: The Dark Ages should run smoothly in high resolution. The ratio between graphics quality and performance can be flexibly adjusted via the ultra-performance mode – a feature that is particularly interesting for gamers with high demands.

Mobility meets power
Despite the powerful hardware, the devices remain extremely light. The 16-inch model weighs just 1.36 kilograms, while the 17-inch version weighs 1.48 kilograms. This makes them among the lightest notebooks in their performance class. A 90 Wh battery promises long runtimes, while the dual cooling system keeps performance constant even during longer gaming sessions. The WQXGA display with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and 144 Hz refresh rate ensures a smooth display. The experience is complemented by a Dolby Atmos sound system with four speakers, which provides deep bass and immersive sound.
AI features for work and everyday life
In addition to the hardware, the software also plays an important role. With hybrid AI technology, LG offers an intelligent balance between on-device and cloud solutions. While “gram chat On-Device” enables fast and secure support directly on the notebook, “gram chat Cloud” uses GPT-4o-based language models for more complex requests. Practical additional functions such as “Time Travel” for retrieving older work statuses and “AI Search” for quickly finding content in documents or images significantly increase everyday productivity.
Conclusion
With the new gram Pro models, LG combines ultra-lightweight design with high-end graphics and smart AI support. Thanks to the RTX 5050, modern displays and a powerful battery, the devices are suitable for both gaming and creative applications. The 16Z90TR and 17Z90TR models will be available from mid-September.
The entry-level price is 2,299 euros for the 16-inch version, while the 17-inch model is priced at 2,499 euros. LG is thus clearly positioning itself in the premium segment and is targeting users who have the highest demands in terms of mobility and performance.
