The iconic Logitech MX Master series is entering the next round: with the launch of the MX Master 4, the manufacturer is bringing a mouse onto the market that is primarily aimed at creative professionals, developers and business users. It combines haptic feedback, smart software support and improved connectivity with a sustainable design – setting new standards for productivity and workflow optimization.

  • Customizable haptic feedback for more precise control
  • Actions Ring as a digital overlay with app shortcuts
  • Improved connectivity thanks to a stronger antenna and USB-C dongle
  • Sustainable materials and optimized durability

Immersive working with haptic feedback

A key highlight of the MX Master 4 is the new, individually adjustable haptic feedback. Users feel subtle vibrations when scrolling, navigating or selecting, which can be adjusted in terms of intensity and response. This not only ensures more realistic operation, but also increases precision when performing complex tasks such as video editing, image processing or data analysis. Especially during long workflows, this creates a more natural feeling of control that previous models could not offer.

This is supported by the well-known MagSpeed scroll wheel, which operates at up to 1,000 lines per second and ensures fast and accurate movements. Thanks to the 8,000 DPI sensor, input remains precise on almost any surface, even glass. This is complemented by quiet clicks which, according to Logitech, are up to 90 percent quieter than the MX Master 3 – a clear advantage for open-plan offices.

Actions Ring for more efficient workflows

Another core component is the new Actions Ring, which is activated via the Logitech Options+ software. This is a digital overlay that provides direct access to app-specific shortcuts and tools. Photoshop users, for example, can place commands here that would otherwise require several clicks, while Excel users can automate recurring processes. According to Logitech, this can save up to 33 percent of working time, while repetitive mouse movements are reduced by more than 60 percent.

Switching between multiple devices is also possible. With up to three computers or tablets connected at the same time, files can be transferred or you can jump between systems using the easy-switch buttons. This not only speeds up the workflow, but also makes the MX Master 4 an ideal mouse for multitasking environments.

Reliable connectivity and business suitability

In addition to the software features, Logitech attaches great importance to uninterrupted connectivity. An optimized chip in combination with a new antenna ensures that the connection is twice as strong as previous models. The USB-C dongle also guarantees fast and secure pairing with a wide range of devices.

The business version offers additional benefits: Logitech Sync allows IT departments to centrally manage connected devices without having to be physically on site. This makes integration into corporate environments much easier. In addition, there is the seamless use with Logi Tune and the particularly stable connection via Logi Bolt – a useful feature, especially in busy wireless environments.

Sustainable design and optimized materials

In addition to technical innovations, Logitech is also committed to sustainability. The MX Master 4 is made from at least 48 percent recycled plastic, comes with a thumbwheel made from low-carbon aluminum and uses a battery with 100 percent recycled cobalt. The packaging is also made from FSC-certified materials and is deliberately designed to reduce the use of plastic. The screw-friendly, modular design also makes the mouse easier to recycle.

There are also improvements suitable for everyday use: dirt-repellent surfaces, an easy-care finish and the USB-C fast charging function. Just one minute of charging gives the mouse up to three hours of power, while a full charge lasts up to 70 days.

Conclusion

The Logitech MX Master 4 presents itself as a consistent further development of an already established series. With haptic feedback, Actions Ring and significantly improved connectivity, it takes productivity and workflow to a new level. At the same time, the sustainable design appeals to users who value environmental protection.

The MX Master 4 is now available worldwide in the colors Graphite and Pale Grey. The RRP is 129.99 euros, including a one-month trial membership for Adobe Creative Cloud. The business version in Graphite is available from authorized dealers and logitech.com.
