The Dreame subsidiary Mova is currently the talk of the town. After all, it offers the quality and performance of the popular parent company at a great price-performance ratio. With the Mova P50s Ultra, the young manufacturer has now launched another model. This model also aims to impress with its strong technical features and clever cleaning functions. It is also a little climbing artist.
Highlights
- Suction power: up to 24,000 Pa, ideal for coarse dirt such as sand
- Mopping technology: rotating mops with extendable arm – even edges and corners are no problem
- Self-cleaning: in-charge station with 80 °C hot water and UV light for hygienic care
- Obstacle navigation: ToF sensors plus obstacle overcoming up to 4.2 cm threshold height
How the P50s Ultra aims to impress
The suction power of 24,000 Pa is impressive – the P50s Ultra should reliably remove even stubborn dirt and sand. And possibly even from long-pile carpets. Two brushes ensure that even long hair (up to 30 cm) does not get tangled. Time-consuming detangling is therefore a thing of the past.
Mopping is carried out using two rotating mops – much more effective than conventional models with a single mop plate. The extendable arm also enables thorough cleaning directly on skirting boards or furniture edges. We already know this from the Mova V50 Ultra (Review | € 1,199.00 *).
The mops can even be lifted up to 10.5 mm – ideal for leaving out carpets, if desired. Not only the robot itself, but also the mops are kept clean automatically: They are cleaned in the base station with water heated to 80 °C and bacteria are also removed using UV light. The station also has separate tanks for fresh water, dirty water, cleaning water and dust collection.
Navigation and obstacle functions
Equipped with ToF sensors, the P50s Ultra recognizes obstacles and avoids them. Doors and thresholds pose no challenge – it should be able to overcome double thresholds of up to 1.8 cm and even up to 4.2 cm with ease.
This means it masters transitions in different living areas with ease. The navigation system is certainly the biggest difference to the flagship V50 Ultra. The latter relies on a retractable LiDAR tower.

Possible applications in everyday life
Thanks to its features and technical capabilities, the robot hoover is ideal for households with a variety of floors – from tiles and hard floors to short-pile carpets. Thanks to its high suction power, it is particularly suitable for families with children or pets, who often leave behind dirt and crumbs. The close-to-edge mopping technology and self-cleaning make it convenient to use – less maintenance, more clean rooms.
Conclusion
The Mova P50s Ultra is a well-thought-out complete package in the mid €999 price range. Top suction power, rotating mops with edge cleaning and a smart self-care station are clear plus points. Only the lack of a warm water mopping option is a small disadvantage compared to the more expensive P flagship. Overall, however, it is a high-quality all-rounder for technology enthusiasts who want to combine performance with convenience. The new smart household helper from Mova is now available at a price of € 899.00 *.
