Narwal, one of the leading providers of intelligent household robots, has celebrated a premiere with its new FLOW model. Unveiled at CES 2025 and now officially available, the robot brings a completely new cleaning concept to the home. With innovative track mop technology, a powerful suction function and a self-maintaining dock, FLOW redefines the standard of modern household care.

  • Track Mop technology with continuous fresh water supply and 45 °C hot water
  • 22,000 Pa suction power with carpet focus system for double deep cleaning
  • Autonomous NarMind™ Pro navigation system with 3D mapping and AI intelligence
  • Self-maintaining docking station with hot water and hot air cleaning

Revolution through Track Mop technology

The heart of Narwal FLOW is the track-based roller mop system, which is being used for the first time. The Track Mop technology combines hot water, precise water supply and an adaptive mop extension that reaches even hard-to-reach areas. With continuous fresh water circulation, the mop is kept hygienic throughout the cleaning process, while a pressure force of 12 Newtons loosens stubborn dirt.

Unlike conventional mop systems, FLOW relies on a closed system: dirty water is consistently extracted and collected in a separate tank. This prevents cross-contamination, streaks or odors – an advantage that is particularly important in households with children or pets. This combination of heat, constant pressure and a permanent supply of fresh water not only makes cleaning more thorough, but also significantly more hygienic.

Focus on suction power and carpet depth

In addition to the mopping function, FLOW also impresses when vacuuming. With a suction power of 22,000 Pa, the robot is one of the most powerful appliances in its class. The so-called DualFlow system uses a free-floating roller brush in combination with side anti-tangling brushes. Pet owners in particular benefit from this, as hair is reliably picked up without the need to regularly untangle brushes manually.

Another highlight is CarpetFocus: this technology uses a special pressure plate to create an almost airtight seal with the carpet. This pushes the airflow deeper into the fibers, which significantly increases dirt pick-up. According to the manufacturer, FLOW achieves twice the deep cleaning performance of comparable models – an important advance for anyone who uses carpets intensively.

Autonomy and maintenance-free

Narwal relies on the new NarMind™ Pro system to ensure that the robot is not only powerful but also as autonomous as possible. With two RGB cameras, 3D depth mapping and AI-supported object recognition, FLOW navigates safely through the home. It overcomes obstacles of up to four centimetres with ease, and with a height of just 95 millimetres, it can get under many pieces of furniture that remain inaccessible to other models.

A central element for true autonomy is the docking station. FLOW cleans its mops there with hot water, then dries them with hot air and automatically empties dirt into a dust bag. With a capacity of up to 120 days, there is no need for daily maintenance. Narwal offers two versions for different living situations: the standard dock with a full range of functions and the more compact FLOW Compact Dock with a height of just 28 centimetres for confined spaces. Both versions rely on the same cleaning and maintenance mechanisms.

Connected cleaning experience

FLOW integrates seamlessly into smart home environments. In addition to its own “Hey Nawa” voice control, it is compatible with Alexa, Google Home and Siri. The Narwal app can be used to customize cleaning schedules, set up zones and regulate humidity levels. The automatic power adjustment is particularly practical: In heavily soiled areas or in households with pets, FLOW increases the suction power and adjusts the mopping intensity.

A look into the future: Matter support is also set to follow by the end of the year, making it even easier to integrate FLOW into networked ecosystems. This will make the robot not just a cleaning system, but an integral part of the digital household.

Conclusion

Narwal FLOW combines powerful hardware, adaptive AI and innovative maintenance technologies in a single device. With its combination of hot water, high suction power and a virtually maintenance-free docking concept, it sets new standards in household robotics. The robot will be available from September 4 – for a limited time at a special price of €899 for the Standard Dock (regularly €1299) and €1099 for the Compact version (regularly €1499). Narwal thus offers not only a technological but also an attractively priced alternative for anyone looking for a genuine all-in-one solution.
