QD OLED power for uncompromising high-end gaming

With the Predator X27U F5 and the Predator X27 X, Acer is launching two monitors that are primarily designed for competitive and visually impressive gaming. Both models rely on QD OLED technology, which is known for particularly deep blacks, vivid colors and fast response times.

The Predator X27U F5 is a 27-inch monitor with a WQHD resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels and a refresh rate of an incredible 500 Hz – a peak value that is ideal for titles with extremely high FPS rates such as first-person shooters or e-sports games. With VESA DisplayHDR TrueBlack 500, a DCI-P3 color space of 99 percent and a color accuracy of Delta E<2, the display not only offers speed, but also impressive image quality. The response time of 0.03 ms (GTG) effectively eliminates ghosting.

For users who place the highest value on resolution, the Predator X27 X delivers a combination of 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160 pixels) and 240 Hz – ideal for immersive AAA gaming experiences. The advantages of QD-OLED, HDR TrueBlack 400 and precise color reproduction also come into their own here. Both monitors support AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and are therefore perfectly matched to modern graphics cards to reduce tearing and latency.

Smart all-rounders with Google TV and gaming genes

In addition to the high-end models, Acer is also presenting new monitors from the Nitro series, which combine entertainment and gaming. The Nitro GA321QK P comes with a 31.5-inch panel in 4K UHD resolution and a refresh rate of 165 Hz. With a response time of up to 0.05 ms (GTG), the model is not only suitable for streaming, but also for smooth gameplay.

The Nitro GA341CUR W0 is even wider: the curved 34-inch monitor with ultra-wide QHD resolution (3,440 x 1,440) achieves 240 Hz and supports 99% of the sRGB color space – ideal for cinematic games or multitasking. Both Nitro displays are equipped with Google TV and offer access to thousands of apps, series and music services. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth functionality turn them into smart entertainment hubs that can be easily connected to other devices.

Flexibility on the go with the Nitro PG271K

The portable Nitro PG271K is designed for mobility and versatility. With its 27-inch 4K panel, a viewing angle of 178° thanks to IPS technology and an adjustable refresh rate (standard 72 Hz, up to 144 Hz for Full HD), it is aimed at users who don’t want to compromise on picture quality while on the move.

Its height adjustability, tilt options and the possibility of wall mounting make it particularly flexible in use – whether in the home office, when traveling or for second-screen gaming.

Conclusion

With the new gaming monitors, Acer is launching several exciting options on the market – from ultra-fast OLED behemoths for ambitious gamers to smart all-rounders for entertainment and work. The Predator X27U F5 (RRP EUR 899) and the Predator X27 X (RRP EUR 1,099) will be released in July 2025 and set new standards in terms of speed and picture quality. The portable Nitro PG271K will also be available from September 2025 for EUR 499. Prices and availability of the new Nitro GA models are still pending, but they are likely to represent an interesting alternative in the mid-price range.
