A new milestone in Philips’ Evnia range: the Philips Evnia 27M2N6801M is a 27-inch gaming monitor with a 4K Fast IPS panel that offers both impressive picture quality and fast response times thanks to dual mode. It stands out thanks to its mini LED technology with over 2300 dimming zones, high peak brightness and a refresh rate of up to 320 Hz – specially developed for demanding gamers, IT professionals and technology enthusiasts.

In a nutshell:

  • 27 “, 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) at native 160 Hz, alternatively 1080p at up to 320 Hz (dual mode)
  • 2304 mini LED dimming zones with extremely precise backlight control and DisplayHDR 1400
  • Peak brightness up to 1650 cd/m², color space coverage approx. 98 % DCI-P3 and 96.4 % Adobe RGB
  • Full ergonomics: height, tilt, pivot and swivel adjustability, extensive interfaces with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4, USB hub, etc.

The Philips Evnia 27M2N6801M is aimed at users who do not want to compromise between resolution and speed. It combines a fine 4K picture with a powerful high refresh mode of 320 Hz. Thanks to HDR1400, Quantum Dot technology and over 2300 individually controlled mini LED zones, it should offer strong performance, especially in terms of contrast, brightness and color reproduction.

Technical highlights and special features

The Philips Evnia 27M2N6801M offers a native 4K mode with 160 Hz; in return, it can be switched to 1080p to achieve up to 320 Hz. This dual-mode feature allows gamers to switch between visual clarity and ultra-smooth response time. With 9216 mini LEDs spread across 2304 local dimming zones, the monitor provides extremely precise light control – deeper blacks, dazzling highlights and rich contrast.

This leads to VESA certification DisplayHDR 1400. The peak brightness value is up to 1650 cd/m², which makes HDR content very vivid and rich in detail. The color space coverage achieves around 98% DCI-P3 and 96.4% Adobe RGB with 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC). With 0.5 ms MPRT, Smart MBR (Motion Blur Reduction) and Adaptive Sync technology, ghosting and tearing are minimized – ideal for fast-paced gaming. The monitor uses Philips’ SmartErgoBase with 130 mm height adjustment, pivot, tilt and swivel.

In addition, there is a headphone hook, cable management, a USB hub with USB-C 5 Gbps, HDMI 2.1 (x2), DisplayPort 1.4, USB-A (Gen1), USB-B upstream and audio connection. The predecessor Philips Evnia 27M2N6800ML already set standards with 4K at 165 Hz, 1152-zone mini LED backlight and up to 1200 cd/m² brightness. This new 6801M model now improves in almost all areas: twice as many dimming zones, higher brightness and dual-mode flexibility.
