Google has completely redesigned the hinge on the Pixel 10 Pro Fold. The so-called “gearless hinge” works without gears, is twice as durable as its predecessor and should withstand more than ten years of folding without any problems. Together with a housing made of aerospace-grade aluminum and IP68 certification, the Foldable offers the same protection against water and dust as the other Pixel 10 models for the first time. This makes it the most resistant foldable on the market to date.
The display has also been reinforced: the Super Actua Flex panel is made of ultra-thin glass, supplemented by two additional anti-shock layers. The battery has been increased to the largest capacity ever in a Pixel foldable. Google promises up to 30 hours of battery life. Fast charging is ensured by a quick-charging function that fills half of the battery in just 30 minutes.
