It thus combines modern AI-supported features with powerful hardware and an attractive price that makes it accessible to a broader user group.

  • One UI 8 with multimodal Galaxy AI functions for natural operation
  • ProVisual Engine with generative image processing and 12 MP front camera

One UI 8 and Galaxy AI at its heart

The Galaxy S25 FE is the first model in the S series to be delivered with One UI 8. The new interface combines intuitive operation with multimodal Galaxy AI functions. Users can control their smartphone not only by voice or touch, but also by video input. Gemini Live stands out in particular: this function allows AI-supported video calls to be made in which questions about objects or situations are answered directly in real time. In addition, Now Bar delivers contextual information directly to the lock screen, while Now Brief provides personalized updates such as weather, traffic or fitness data. For gamers, Circle to Search with Google brings practical tips directly into the game without interrupting the current session.

On the security side, Samsung relies on Knox Enhanced Encrypted Protection (KEEP). Each app has its own encrypted storage area, which keeps sensitive data protected. Together with Knox Vault and the Personal Data Engine, personal information remains on the device and is not processed externally – an important step towards data protection with intensive AI use at the same time.

Creative tools with the ProVisual Engine

The camera and image processing functions of the Galaxy S25 FE are clearly designed for creative application scenarios. The 12 MP front camera provides detailed selfies, while Nightography ensures clear images in low light conditions. Super HDR brings vibrant colors and contrasts into play. Generative editing makes it possible to automatically remove distracting objects such as passers-by from images. Portrait Studio also offers the option of creating personalized avatars with realistic facial expressions.

Samsung has also made improvements in the video area: With Instant Slow-Mo, users can turn clips directly into slow motion, while the audio eraser filters out distracting background noises such as wind or crowds. Automatic trimming also facilitates quick editing by allowing the device to select the best scenes from a video itself. This positions the Galaxy S25 FE as a creative all-in-one tool.

Performance and design for everyday use

Under the hood, the Galaxy S25 FE offers sufficient endurance for intensive use with its 4,900 mAh battery. Thanks to the 45 W fast charging function, the device is quickly ready for use again. A 10% larger vapor chamber ensures better cooling, especially for performance-hungry AI applications or gaming sessions.

The 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display delivers smooth animations and rich colors at 120 Hz. The Armor aluminum frame combines stability with elegant design. Samsung guarantees seven years of software and security updates, making the device a reliable long-term choice.

Another plus point is the seamless integration into the Galaxy ecosystem: in combination with the new Galaxy Buds3 FE, this creates a consistent user experience with high-quality sound and fast connectivity.

Conclusion

With the Galaxy S25 FE, Samsung brings a strong overall package to the mid-range S series. One UI 8, Galaxy AI and the ProVisual Engine make it a creative and practical companion, while the battery, display and design ensure suitability for everyday use. The device will be available from September 5, 2025 in the colors Icyblue, Jetblack, Navy and White. Prices start at €749 (128 GB) and range up to €929 (512 GB).
