Segway Ninebot E3 and E3 Pro: New e-scooters now available

The latest e-scooter series from Segway-Ninebot is here: the Ninebot E3 and E3 Pro celebrated their sales launch in Germany on July 18, 2025. Both models impress with their futuristic design, lightweight magnesium construction and smart features – ideal for technology aficionados, gamers and commuters aged between 18 and 45.

Segway Ninebot E3 – the entry-level scooter

Weighing just 17.5 kg, the Ninebot E3 has a compact, foldable frame. Its 276 Wh battery enables a range of up to 45 km in ECO mode (15 km/h) and around 37 km in Sport mode (20 km/h). The RRP is €399 – an attractive entry-level price for e-scooter fans.

Ninebot E3 Pro – more battery, more power

At 17.9 kg, the E3 Pro is slightly heavier and has a 368 Wh battery. This allows you to travel up to 55 km in ECO mode and up to 47 km in Sport mode. Technically identical to the basic model, it complements the package with the same 800 W power pack with 18% climbing ability. The RRP is €449.

Expandable: External battery

From the fourth quarter of 2025, an optional 184 Wh additional battery can be retrofitted to enable ranges of up to 25 km extra – particularly useful for longer distances.

Price & Availability

Both models have been officially available since July 18, 2025 and can be ordered directly from Segway or the usual dealers.

The external battery will be available separately from Q4 2025, without the previous price, but with the potential to significantly extend the range.

Segway is following up with the Ninebot E3 series: Two stylish, lightweight and comprehensively equipped e-scooters that aim to offer scooter fans what they value – smart technology, ranges for everyday use and attractive prices under €500.
