At IFA 2025, SwitchBot is expanding its portfolio with two new models designed to take smart household cleaning to the next level: the SwitchBot S20 floor cleaning robot and the K11+ vacuum robot. Both devices rely on the seamless integration of Matter 1.4 and offer direct support for area cleaning in Apple Home for the first time. SwitchBot is thus aiming for a future in which cleaning is not only efficient, but also seamlessly integrated into networked smart home environments.

  • SwitchBot S20: 10,000 Pa suction power, RinseSync™ mop system, MultiClean base station
  • SwitchBot K11+: the world’s smallest robot vacuum with 6,000 Pa suction power
  • Matter 1.4 with Apple Home area cleaning for both models
  • Prices: S20 from €799.99, K11+ from €399.99

Premium functions for everyday use: the S20

The new SwitchBot S20 floor cleaning robot combines powerful suction power with innovative mopping technology. The RinseSync™ roller mop system ensures that every cleaning run is carried out with a fresh mop – the mop is continuously scrubbed and rinsed so that dirt is not dispersed but actually removed. This system is complemented by an anti-tangling brush and a V-shaped side brush that effectively picks up hair and fibers without tangling.

With 10,000 Pa suction power and AI-supported obstacle avoidance, the S20 reliably covers a variety of floors, from parquet to carpet. At its heart is the new MultiClean base station, which is available in two versions: one with integrated water tanks (2.7 L fresh water and 2.5 L dirty water) and a version that can be connected directly to the domestic water supply. Both versions empty the dust container, store dust for up to 90 days and dry the mop with 50 °C hot air.

A special feature: the S20 can even automatically refill the SwitchBot Evaporative Humidifier, thus expanding the possibilities of a fully networked household. Thanks to Matter 1.4, integration works across all platforms, including area cleaning in Apple Home.

Compact and powerful: the K11+

The SwitchBot K11+ stands out above all due to its dimensions: with a diameter of 24.8 cm and a height of just 9.2 cm, it is the smallest robot vacuum in the world. This allows it to easily reach tight corners and clean under low pieces of furniture where larger models cannot reach. The associated base station is barely larger than an A4 sheet of paper and holds dust in a 4-liter bag for up to 90 days.

Despite its compact size, the K11+ delivers 6,000 Pa suction power and is equipped with an anti-tangling rubber brush and a V-shaped side brush. Thanks to 360° LiDAR navigation and PSD sensors, it creates precise maps and reliably detects obstacles or steps. With a noise level from 45 dB, it works quietly enough for use in the home office or at night.

The full Matter 1.4 over WiFi integration also ensures easy integration into common smart home systems. Area cleaning via Apple Home is particularly practical, allowing targeted control of individual rooms.

Conclusion

With the S20 and the K11+, SwitchBot covers two different requirements: While the S20 is intended for families with large living spaces who value comprehensive automation, the K11+ is aimed at city dwellers and users with smaller apartments who are looking for a compact and powerful solution. Both models rely on the openness of Matter 1.4 and thus enable seamless integration into modern smart homes.

The devices are available now via the official SwitchBot website and Amazon stores. The S20 starts at €799.99, while the K11+ is available from €399.99. SwitchBot is making a clear statement: smart cleaning is no longer a dream of the future, but part of modern everyday life. You can find more information on the official SwitchBot website.
