XGIMI is expanding its range of portable projectors with two new models in the MoGo 4 series: the MoGo 4 and the MoGo 4 Laser. Both devices combine powerful projection technology with a portable design, high-quality speakers and smart functions – optimized for spontaneous movie nights outdoors, creative use on the go or minimalist home entertainment. The projectors were recently presented at a launch event in Paris.

  • Full HD and laser technology with up to 550 ISO lumens
  • Integrated Harman/Kardon speakers and battery operation
  • Magnetic image filters and gesture control
  • Compatible with Google TV, Netflix, HDMI, Bluetooth and more

Smart entertainment for everywhere

With the MoGo 4 series, XGIMI shows just how versatile portable projectors can be today. The compact format of the two devices makes them particularly suitable for mobile scenarios – from the campsite to the festival grounds to a cozy evening on the balcony. Despite their size, both projectors offer an impressive image diagonal of up to 120 inches, automatic keystone correction and intuitive operation via remote control and gesture control.

Particularly practical for use away from power sockets: the integrated rechargeable battery provides up to 2.5 hours of movie playback or 6 hours of music playback in ambient mode. This mode also transforms the device into a Bluetooth speaker with atmospheric lighting – a smart solution for music, background lighting or presentations. The design is complemented by a detachable carrying strap and a high-quality housing, which was awarded the iF DESIGN AWARD 2025.

A unique feature of the series are the magnetic filters, which can be used to create visual effects such as a “sunset” look. These can be changed quickly by hand or gesture – for atmospheric movie nights or creative content in social media formats, for example.

Pocket-sized laser technology

The MoGo 4 Laser stands out from its Full HD counterpart thanks to the use of a triple laser display. With 550 ISO lumens, a color space coverage of 110% BT.2020 and a strong contrast ratio of 1000:1, it delivers even more brilliant images with richer colors – ideal for anyone who doesn’t want to compromise on image quality when on the move. The device also sets high-quality visual accents with an illuminated base and metal design elements.

All four magnetic filters are included with this model, giving users complete creative freedom in image design. Technically and functionally, the MoGo 4 Laser is otherwise the same as the MoGo 4, including gesture control, battery and Google TV.

Both models score with comprehensive connectivity: HDMI with ARC, USB, Bluetooth 5.1 and WiFi 5 are also on board, as is official Netflix support – a feature that is not a matter of course in the projector sector. This makes it easy to stream content without any detours via third-party solutions.

For even more mobility, XGIMI offers a separate PowerBase stand with an additional 20,000 mAh battery. This is attached magnetically and can double the running time of the projector. Also available is a foldable 70-inch screen that can be set up in under a minute.
