With the M14 Plus, Yeedi is launching a new model on the market that deliberately sets itself apart from the typical design of many vacuum and mopping robots. Instead of rotating mops, the manufacturer has opted for a powerful, individually installed mopping roller – a concept that should offer particular advantages in the case of stubborn dirt. The system is complemented by a multifunctional base station and impressive suction power. The M14 Plus will initially be launched in the USA, but has not yet been launched in Germany.

  • Cleaning roller instead of rotating mops – ideal for coarse dirt
  • Automatic self-cleaning, drying and dust extraction via the base station
  • Suction power of 18,000 Pa for powerful dry cleaning
  • Introductory price: around USD 850 (regular price USD 1,399)

Robust technology for thorough floor care

The M14 Plus goes its own way with wet cleaning: instead of two rotating mops, the robot uses a single cleaning roller that is constantly moistened with fresh water and mechanically cleaned at the same time. This technology effectively prevents dirt particles from being carried away – a common problem with conventional systems. This principle is likely to make a significant difference, particularly in the case of dried-on dirt or kitchen floors with grease and crumbs.

As the roller does not extend across the entire width of the appliance, a small strip of dirt may remain around the edges. However, photos show that this area is very narrow. In addition, the system automatically detects heavily soiled areas and carries out more intensive cleaning there. The combination of smart detection and robust mechanics is clearly aimed at households with higher cleaning requirements – such as families with children or pets.

The M14 Plus also impresses in dry cleaning with a suction power of 18,000 pascals, which is well above the market average. The main brush is supported by an additional side brush to reliably pick up dirt from corners and along walls.

Convenience functions and smart base station

The base station included in the scope of delivery is much more than just a charging station: it performs several tasks automatically. In addition to charging the robot, it empties the dust container, cleans and dries the mopping roller and refills fresh water. This significantly reduces the maintenance effort – a decisive argument in everyday life.

Intelligent navigation can be expected from a device in this price range, as can app control, room recognition and the option to set up exclusion zones. Detailed information on this has not yet been officially confirmed, but is expected to be provided at the market launch.

Conclusion

With the M14 Plus, Yeedi is positioning itself as a serious player in the high-end segment for cleaning robots. The innovative mopping roller technology in particular sets the model apart from the competition and promises more thorough results with difficult soiling. In combination with a powerful base station and high suction power, the overall package is impressive. The entry-level price of around 850 US dollars currently makes the M14 Plus particularly attractive – the regular price is 1,399 US dollars. A launch date for the German market has not yet been set.
