The new YUKA mini Vision robotic lawnmower from MAMMOTION brings a breath of fresh air to the world of automated garden maintenance. With its fully camera-based navigation, lightning-fast start-up and intelligent zone control, the robot is aimed at technology enthusiasts, smart home fans and anyone who wants efficient garden maintenance without the hassle. The combination of innovative camera AI, smart autonomy and powerful performance makes the YUKA mini Vision one of the most exciting new launches at IFA 2025.
Highlights
- The YUKA mini Vision is the first robotic lawnmower from MAMMOTION with purely visual navigation – without boundary wire, RTK or base station.
- Set-up takes less than a minute – unpack, place, start.
- Thanks to the triple camera system, it recognizes even the smallest obstacles and mows safely even in complex environments.
YUKA mini Vision: Smart navigation
The most outstanding innovation of the YUKA mini Vision is its camera-based navigation system. Three high-resolution cameras work hand in hand with AI-supported image processing. This enables the robot to reliably detect and navigate around even small objects such as hedgehogs or garden tools (from 5×5 cm in size).
Unlike conventional devices, the mini Vision does not require an RTK antenna or boundary wire – a decisive advantage for users who prefer uncomplicated technology and value quick set-up.
The cameras are said to work in all light conditions – even at dusk – and enable up to 14 hours of daily operation in summer. The robotic lawnmower is therefore not only suitable for simple lawns, but also for winding gardens with shaded areas and slopes of up to 45%.
Set up in one minute
The simple start-up is particularly impressive: the robot starts mowing immediately using the “Drop & Mow” function, without the need for prior mapping. The auto-explore function automatically maps the garden, recognizes zones and obstacles and plans an efficient mowing path – without any user intervention.
The charging station can be flexibly positioned outside the lawn – for example in the garage or on the patio – as long as it is within a radius of up to 30 meters. This keeps the lawn free of technology and tripping hazards.
Lots of technology in a small space
Despite its compact size, the YUKA mini Vision offers impressive performance data. A replaceable 4.5 Ah lithium battery ensures a long runtime. Five pivoting blades with a cutting width of 190 mm and adjustable cutting height deliver a uniform cutting pattern – even on challenging terrain.
The “Auto Ride-On-Edge” function automatically detects lawn edges and cuts them cleanly along the boundary – without gaps or manual reworking. The combination of emission-free operation, quiet running noise and intelligent control makes the robot particularly suitable for densely populated residential areas – and for households with children or pets.
