This year’s IFA 2025 in Berlin will once again focus on sustainable technologies. Zendure, an internationally renowned provider of energy management and storage solutions, stands out in particular with its vision of a connected, intelligent household. In addition to the new Home Energy Management System (HEMS), which uses AI-supported optimization to make electricity consumption smarter, more efficient and cheaper, Zendure is presenting the E-Cargo (EC 001 Pro), a pioneering concept for green urban mobility.

  • Zendure HEMS: AI optimization for power consumption, storage and device integration
  • SolarFlow 2400 AC & 800 Pro: modular energy storage solutions for private solar systems
  • E-Cargo EC 001 Pro: intelligent e-cargo bike with a range of up to 400 km
  • ZEN+ Home integration: an end-to-end ecosystem from energy to mobility

Intelligent energy management for the entire household

The centerpiece is the new Zendure HEMS, which makes the vision of a Zen+ Home a reality. It was unveiled at Intersolar 2025 and combines energy production, storage and consumption using AI-supported forecasts. The so-called Zenki mode analyzes electricity prices, weather patterns and user behavior in order to enable intelligently controlled energy distribution on this basis. According to Zendure, this allows an average of 7-22% more yield to be achieved and up to 42% of electricity costs to be saved.

A decisive advantage is the integration of European electricity market data: Over 700 suppliers are recorded in real time, so that electricity usage and intermediate storage are automatically adjusted to favorable tariffs. In addition, specific consumers such as heat pumps or electric cars can be charged flexibly according to price and solar yield windows. Smart charging planning for Teslas is currently being prioritized, with other models to follow.

The system is also versatile when it comes to appliance control. Up to 10 smart sockets and 6 energy storage units can be managed simultaneously, enabling complete energy management for the home. Additional functions such as an AI-supported voice assistant, detailed energy reports and personalized suggestions for more efficient use round off the system. Meanwhile, the platform interacts seamlessly with existing Zendure products such as SolarFlow 2400 AC or SolarFlow 800 Pro, which are equally attractive to users with and without existing storage solutions.

Zendure SolarFlow 2400 AC+AB3000X: AI-controlled energy storage system for the smart home

With the SolarFlow 2400 AC+AB3000X, Zendure is launching an innovative solution for households in Europe that operate photovoltaic systems but previously had to do without battery storage. The system is based on a combination of a 2400W bidirectional inverter and a modular 2.88 kWh battery that can be expanded to up to 17.28 kWh. Thanks to plug-and-play installation and AI-supported energy management, Zendure promises a particularly economical way of increasing the self-consumption rate and independence from the power grid.

  • 2400W AC power, modularly expandable to up to 17.28 kWh storage capacity
  • AI-supported energy management for price sensitivity and peak load control
  • Plug-and-play installation, compatible with all common PV inverters
  • AC efficiency of up to 93% thanks to modern semiconductor technology

The SolarFlow 2400 AC+AB3000X is designed for maximum user-friendliness. Instead of requiring extensive retrofitting at home, the system is easy to connect and is compatible with all common roof-mounted inverters.

Zendure pays particular attention to lightweight construction and an AC-coupled design that does not require any intervention in the existing solar system. This allows households to benefit from high energy efficiency regardless of their existing hardware. With the use of third-generation silicon carbide semiconductors, the system achieves a round-trip efficiency of up to 93 percent, keeping losses to a minimum.

The real unique selling point of the SolarFlow 2400 AC is the integration of the ZENKI Energy Management AI. It continuously analyzes consumption patterns, grid load and dynamic electricity prices in order to use the stored electricity as efficiently as possible. The intelligent time-of-use control (TOU) makes it possible to store electricity cheaply during low-tariff periods and sell it again during high-price periods. According to studies, this system increases overall efficiency by an average of 6-10 percent.

Sustainable mobility with the E-Cargo as a concept highlight

In addition to stationary energy systems, Zendure also presented a vision for urban mobility at IFA. With the E-Cargo (EC 001 Pro), the company is developing a smart cargo bike that completely redefines range, functionality and safety. Powered by a 1920 Wh battery, the state-of-the-art version of the bike covers up to 200 km in sport mode and even 400 km in ECO mode. An optionally integrated 140 W solar panel on the roof provides an additional 10 km range in just 20 minutes of sunlight – a step towards almost unlimited mobility.

Zendure is also breaking new ground in terms of charging speed: thanks to integration with the in-house Hyper/SolarFlow system, electricity can be charged for a range of 100 kilometers within an hour – a speed that is over 500% faster than conventional e-cargo bikes. But E-Cargo is not just a means of transportation, it is also a mobile power station: devices such as fridges, projectors or speakers can be connected on the go – perfect for camping or outdoor activities.

The focus is also on safety and comfort. With 4G GPS tracking, anti-theft function, sensor monitoring and real-time warnings, the bike is protected against misuse. There are also comfort-enhancing features such as puncture-proof tires, ergonomic seats and smart LED lighting. The e-cargo is still at the concept stage, but it is already clear that Zendure is positioning itself with this project not only as an energy provider, but also as a mobility provider.

Conclusion

Zendure is presenting a clear strategy at IFA 2025: the intelligent integration of energy and mobility. While the HEMS system has been proven to drive energy efficiency and cost reduction in European households, the E-Cargo concept opens up the vision of environmentally friendly, solar-powered mobility. Prices and market launch dates are not yet final, but the technologies presented show that Zendure is focusing on the consistent expansion of an integrated ZEN+ Home ecosystem. This could establish the company as one of the leading players in the field of smart, sustainable energy solutions in the long term.
