With the GeForce RTX 5090 Arcticstorm, Zotac is launching a new flagship graphics card on the market that is not only equipped with Nvidia’s currently most powerful GPU, but also relies on factory-installed all-in-one water cooling – a first in the Zotac line-up. The combination of uncompromising performance and efficient cooling is primarily intended to appeal to enthusiasts and power users who expect maximum performance with reduced noise levels.

The most important features at a glance:

  • Integrated 360 mm AIO water cooling for quiet and efficient operation
  • GPU temperatures up to 30 % lower than with air cooling, according to the manufacturer
  • Quieter in operation: up to 50% less noise development
  • Slightly increased boost clock to 2,437 MHz, dual BIOS, 12V 2×6 connection with control LED

Water cooling on a new level: 360 mm radiator ex works

With the RTX 5090 Arcticstorm, Zotac relies on a complete all-in-one cooling system with a 360 mm radiator – a first for the manufacturer and still rare in the high-end segment. The cooling performance is said to enable up to 30 % lower temperatures, although it remains unclear to which comparative value this refers. A comparison with the Nvidia Founders Edition or its own air-cooled model is conceivable.

The great advantage of this cooling system is not only the temperature development, but also the noise level: Zotac speaks of an operating volume that is up to 50% quieter, which makes the system particularly interesting for workstations, streaming PCs or silent builds. Thanks to the pre-assembled solution, installation is relatively straightforward, but the radiator requires the appropriate space in the case.

Restrained overclocking despite extreme cooling

Surprisingly, Zotac is rather conservative with the GPU clock: With a boost of 2,437 MHz, the card is only 30 MHz above the Nvidia reference design – a marginal difference that should have little impact on performance in practice. The TDP remains at 575 watts, which also corresponds to the standard values of the RTX 5090.

The fact that a significantly higher clock frequency was not chosen despite potent cooling suggests that Zotac is focusing on stability, noise optimization and compatibility – an understandable compromise in a market segment in which thermal efficiency is becoming increasingly more important than mere megahertz numbers.

Features for enthusiasts: Dual BIOS and modern power supply

In addition to the cooling technology, the RTX 5090 Arcticstorm also comes with typical high-end features: A dual BIOS allows quick switching between two operating profiles, for example for quiet or performance-oriented operation. The 12V 2×6 power connection used is also supplemented by a small status LED that lights up when the contact is correct. Although this does not offer complete security against connection errors, it is a welcome indicator during assembly.

The remaining specifications correspond to the known key data of the RTX 5090: 24 GB GDDR7, enormous shader resources and a memory bandwidth beyond the 1 TB/s mark ensure brute performance in 4K, ray tracing, AI applications and GPU-accelerated rendering.

Conclusion: Extremely powerful, quiet and innovative – but still without a price

With the GeForce RTX 5090 Arcticstorm, Zotac delivers a package for enthusiasts that aims to harmonize performance, volume and design. The integrated 360 mm AIO clearly stands out from classic air coolers and could become a role model for future high-end graphics cards.

Price and availability:
A specific market launch or RRP has not yet been announced. The card is not yet listed in German stores. In view of the features, however, a price well above the standard models is to be expected. Further details can be found on the official website.
